Really nice hostel, helpful and friendly staff, extremely clean but a little bit far from centre of town.

Spacious rooms (don't add more beds) comfortable beds, appreciate lights above beds would have like hooks in the shower rooms to hand clothes and towel

Had a late arrival from airport and this was one of the few hostels that could arrange a late check in at 2am! I checked out that same morning so didn't really get a feel for the place but it seemed really nice with really helpful staff. Only downside was the shower, I could only seem to get it to be freezing or boiling?!

Dorm rooms sandwiched by toilet and shower on either side of thin walls not ideal but otherwise good, nice setting, clean, good value.

Rooms were perfect - we had a 3 bed dorm and it was very clean and cosy. Facilities were good too and staff were VERY helpful and friendly.

i really enjoyed my stay at Foley Towers, i met really interesting people and the garden is amazing! definitely recommend it for anyone coming to Chch

We had and ensuite twin room. There was no toiletries, soap, shampoo. We had to ask to get towels. The people taking care of the place was very friendly and obliging. Room was very small. Garden sitting area was just 5 foot outside our window. Can hear all conversations outside loud and clear. Otherwise, the whole place is clean and well kept.
