When we asked staff about the city tour, bus transportation from and to the tower Foley, they do not know about it. So we have to use a very expensive taxi. But I am grateful to the staff for booking a shuttle to the airport. Hostel's Parks are not maintained, many items are placed in any place. Kitchen and lounge is quite nice and clean. We quite enjoyed christchurch, punting, city tour bus (antique), malls and other places. The town is beautiful and attractive.

Lovely garden to relax and enjoy the weather in. Christ church doesn't have much going on at the moment but it was a good rest before our road trip through the south Island. I would stay here again. Large kitchen as well.

It's a bit old, but the price is cheap. Location is out of city, but, after earthquake, u can't stay in the city centre as well.

Super helpful staff. Too bad the city was so blocked off and hard to navigate.

The whole hostel, staff and guests seem like a family and although the destroyed city does not offer so much to do anymore you get to know enough people to spend time with in this hostel and you have the opportunity to spend a great time together there. The little garden is very nice and you feel comfortable. The kitchen can be a little messy but that is up to the guests behaviour anyway and it was not too bad. The living room area is quite nice as well. I like the way people come together there

Great hostel, close to what is left of the city. Great cafe across the road. Clean kitchen etc etc. Thanks for a great time. Make sure you get to this city and get your tourist dollars in there!

The hostel was clean and warm, with underfloor heating. It's noisy at night though as the rooms are centered around a courtyard and I and other guests were woken at 3am, by other noisy guests.

A lovely place to stay, only problems are that the food shops are a little way away also the buses are a walk away. Other than that it is brilliant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very good and people are very friendly. :)
