The private rooms were very nice and clean - would recommend. We also tried out the dorms, which were fairly clean, but found a few ants in my bed. Breakfast was wonderful though (tea/coffee, roti + curry, fresh cut fruits and sandwich!). Would recommend. Right by Times Square Mall.The private rooms were very nice and clean - would recommend. First room we had was a box with no windows!they said we had booked this type of room?but we paid 10 dollars more p/night and moved to room with windows as we were staying 5 nights.safe clean.helpful staff.small communal space so you spent time in you room or out of the hostel.overpriced for what you get.breakfast is basic-tea and toast.they should lose the pooltable and have more seating area. No hooks in room to hang things. One big problem is the lack of air conditioning from 9am to 7pm. Ok it saves the owners a lot of money and most people are out during the day. HOWEVER if you arrive as I did, in the later morning all hot and sweaty, even after a shower I found the room unbearable to stay in even to find some clean clothes to change into etc. Provision needs to be made for air conditioning to be on in these circumstances! Also I would have liked provisions to pay using a visa card. Everything else was adequateOne big problem is the lack of air conditioning from 9am to 7pm. Footprints was a great base for us for our short stay in Singapore. We actually extended our stay by an extra 2 days. The bathrooms are meticulously cleaned every day, and the staff were very helpful and good at recommending places to eat locally, as well as giving us directions and advice about general transport. i stayed in the private room and it was really clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom wasn't so bad at all. The only downside from Footprints was the noise from the garbage truck or other transportation that moved around the hostel location.

Stay on Footprints Hostel on 10th November, as my first experiences for styaing in a dormitory hostel, sleep with stranger in a room.
But this hostel is quite good that makes me think stay in hostel could be fun and enjoyable.
