Lockers not very secure. No enforced rules in dorms which can lead to people being frustrated because of others talking late into he night. Showers are great and so is location

Great backpacking option with well priced dorm rooms and a good location in little India. I checked in late at night without hassle and was able to find all necessary conveniences without leaving the hostel. Rooms were a little high on the air-con for the top bunk beds and I was frozen with the small blanket provided but the rooms were otherwise very clean and comfortable.

Of course since everyone knows well how high things are cost in Singapore, the hostel is an ideal for the backpackers who want to stay in the budget. I was also one of them, with a tight budget! I would say the hostel is value for the money. What I love the most about this hostel is that it has some space for me to sit outside on the first floor having conversation with great mind people. However, what I suggest the hostel could have done better is the friendliness of the staff.

About 10 minutes walk from a metro station, surrounded by cheap restaurants, a couple of bars and a few small supermarkets. Beds are comfy enough (though you have to make up the beds yourself when you arrive) and the rooms are clean with large lockers. Shower facilities were good, never had to wait, though got a bit grubby by the end of the day, and free breakfast was fine. Main downside was common area- small and not really enough seating- improve this and the hostel would be close to perfect.

It was the very first time to experience staying at a hostel and luckily I chose a good one. Really appreciate for Francis' patience, smile and help! Also, the cleanliness and safety are my most concerns which did satisfy me. Footprints is certainly a place I'll recommend my friends to stay

Good location but the common area is not really cozy, it is hard to get into contact with other travelers.

Singapore budget accommodation suffers by comparison with cheaper options in neighbouring countries. The dorms are a bit clinical, but I have always found this one clean, it has lockers in dorm, windows (not a given), and a good social common area at reception. It's close to Serangoon Rd, Sim Lim Square for electronics, and the Causeway Link bus to Malaysia. For now this is my top pick for a place to stay when transiting Singpore.

The Staff was the best part of this hostel. Very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were very clean and I felt the entire stay was a pleasant one.

Of all the places I've stayed over 5 months of travel in SEA, this ranks in my top three! The girl behind the counter was amazingly helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable and worked well. The atmosphere to meet other backpackers was great, and just being able to lounge on the couch in front of an action movie with other like minded travelers was great too. Having cereal and milk for the first time in months was heaven sent. Thank you footprints for a great stay!

Lovely staff and breakfast was very much appreciated, awkward to find initially if you go via borders rather than flying in, but onvce you've settled in its really easy to move around, and the area is always busy so even late in the evening it feels safer than many other places i've been to

I only stayed here for one night, however I ended up leaving during the night and checking into a hotel down the road, because my room had bugs!
