Great stay right inside Little India. Also close to the MRT which was nice and there are a lot of great cheap food options near by. The staff was really friendly and the breakfast was the best free breakfast I've ever got from any hostel. Just make sure you get down there to eat before 10:30. Cool little hang out spot downstairs, music they play is questionable however.

Foot prints calls itself a 'backpacker hostel', although sadly other than in your room you wouldn't know that. The reception lobby is constantly full of Indian men loitering around watching films all day, you therefore can't sit down and relax outside of the hot stuffy room, it also has lots of families staying here and so feels more like a hotel with dorm rooms. certainly not the same Backpacker vibe you get at MANY other hostels in the same area!

It was a good hostel, not very social but there is a good common area on the main floor. the rooms are nice and clean. the free breakfast was ok, just a lot of sugary things. would have been nice if they provided some fruit or something. really close to little india station, which is a plus. overall good value for your money.

Great location - the Little India. Prices are cheaper and life is more colourful, also street food was delicious. Excellent place for the newcomer, who comes to Singapore for the first time and has no idea where to go, what to do, where from to start exploring the city :-)

This place was quite ok, nothing amazing and nothing bad really.

Hostel was great value for money in expensive Singapore as I got one of their $12 beds. Wifi was good, bed was comfortable, a bit noisy at night as thin walls and if another room has people talking, you can hear it all. Breakfast was good with selection of toast or cereals. Location isn't the best, but i like the Little India area so is fine for me.

The place is ok. Good free breakfast. Very hot in the dorm until they turn on the AC at 7 pm.

A fine place to stay if youre in little india, only a 10 min walk from the tram station, polite staff, clean, slightly more than the usual free breakfast options, wifi isnt too slow, small personal sized lockers for a few gadgets, nice comfy couches downstairs. Not too shabby.

Great facilities and a great lobby area to hangout and chill. They do warn you that there is no AC turned on during the daytime, so if you plan on being inside during these hours, you should hang out in the lobby or find another place. Secure and good cheap food nearby!

Didn't like the place. Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible or anything like that. It just doesn't feel like a backpackers hostel. It's full of malay/indian families, few common areas and little interaction. Location is only good if you're really into indian food (it's near little india - an overall boring area). Walking to metro takes maybe 10 min. Facilities provide you the basics, breakfast is nice (cereal, toast, jam, milk and tea). Just go there if you happen to get the 10 dollar deal.

This hostel is in the heart of Little India and is easy to access and get around to other places. Cleanliness was a priority which we appreciated. The bathrooms were a little crowded and extremely hot as there was no ventilation. Breakfast was standard, toast and cereal, but it's what you expect in a hostel. Staff were very helpful, and gotta love the A/C that is on in the rooms at night! If I ever come back to Singapore, I'd definitely stay here again!

Although quiet a large busy hostel, this is pretty good value for money and comes with a free breakfast! The dorms are above average and cleaned daily. There is a small area to hang out, watch films or use the free internet/computers. The staff here were very helpful and friendly. Not the best location but not to far from Little India, or the Local bus/MRT. Overall I had a nice stay here and would recommend if you don't mind a larger, busier place to stay!
