Too much people long term stayers and where are all the backpackers?! Most of guest were much older men than usually in hostels. Dorms were cramped and smelled weird.

I would stay there again. It is what it is and that is a place to crash while staying in Singapore. Location is excellent and great value for money.

Especially, I liked that the reception desk is operating 24 hours. And the service is very good! If I go to Singapore again, I will stay in here:D And also, I will recommend to my friends who want to visit Singapore.

It would be better if don't turn on the air conditioner at night, because the room was like a freezer. There are not plugs in the bathroom, so I couldn't use my shave machine. There are few spaces or meeting rooms to share with other friends. The wifi was not working at all, because the modem has a limited number of people to connect in it. These are just feedback to the hostel, in order to improve their facilities. But anyway, the stuff was friendly and really helpful when we asked them.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hi hi, Thank you for your feedback and compliment to our staff. The temperature of the air conditioner can be adjusted in every room though the remote control in the dorm. Someone could have adjusted the temperature too low for the comfort of the others in the same dorm. If you feel cold, we will be glad to offer you extra blankets if the rest of the dorm mates prefer the low temperature. We note your comments on the plug in the bathroom and will see if we can get an electrician to install new power points. Alternatively, you may plug into the individual power point at each bed. As for the wifi, we just need to reboot the modem and it will work fine. Our modem does not have a limit to the number of people to connect to it. But I admit that we had a faulty router but we have since replaced it with a new router. We do apologize for the unsatisfactory wifi experience you had while staying with us and hope to host you better the next time you are with us. We appreciate the feedback and will strive to improve our facilities and service constantly.

Staff were friendly, the location was relatively good. Rooms were clean enough, hot during the day but air conditioned at night. The wi-fi was good, nice relaxing area to sit downstairs and the place was secure. Bathrooms were clean but male wash hand basins had no hot water or hand dryer which surprised me. It's good as you are able to leave bags when you check out if you're not leaving the city until later in the day. It had a good atmosphere around it.

Nice place even if it wasn't the most exciting place I've stayed in. May stay here again though if I return to Singapore.

Pretty standard hostel experience. In a good part of town, good price, good facilities. Rooms a bit on the small side, especially once you take into account backpacks, and AC doesn't turn on until the evenings, but other than that, no real complaints.

I think the hostel staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. But I also think there was too much human traffic in the main entrance to the hostel particuarly during breakfast hour.

Due to the huge construction side close to the hostel, it is quite difficoult to come from the Bugis station, so choose Little India. What I did not like is that you should make the bed yourself. It could be very uncomfortable when you arrive late in the night. It is clean and has aircon so its OK but can not understand why so high rated...
