Friendly staff but located next to the cemetery and a local street hang out that was rowdy; felt it was in the ghetto part of town. Clientele of the hotel were quite different/creepy from other hotel/hostels nearby and with similar price range. On the bright side the shower was nice and hot/comfy duvet. Will not return.

Great experience and location! The staff and hospitality was incredible, talk to the manager Ian he is very accommodating and resourceful and made our stay even better. The location is a couple blocks away from Conde street and less than ten minutes from a great supermercado (Jumbo) where some great souvenirs can be bought as well. Rooms are comfortable and well worth what we paid for, we will definitely come back again upon visiting Santo Domingo.

The location is terrible, lots of prostitutes and thieves around. I gave up as soon as I arrived.

We stayed one night- the owner (I think) was a very helpful man who was ready with maps and ideas for us to find things on our night in the Colonial Zone. Coffee in the morning was very welcome!

The location is not right in the center but that being said the zona colonial is small and i never found it to be out of the way. it has an old hollywood- cinema feel to it. quiet and good security, friendly staff. it is one of the cheapest options in santo domingo so for those budget travellers, you can' t complain.

Very good and nice place. I enjoy it very much. It is 500 m from the old city. Free Breakfast and Wifi. I got a map and all informations directly from the owner. He is very friendly and helpful.

Convienent location but grimy area, breakfast was bread & jam with coffee at a broken bar stool. Rooms very small, everything was extremely cheap looking from the mirror tacked onto the wall to the super thin 10 thread count sheets. The owner & staff are EXTREMELY nice & very helpful...made up for the other stuff. Beware, they only take cash too.
