Forest Glen Reviews

Forest Glen was our first experience of Sri Lanka and it was a pleasant introduction. Lovely setting in the middle of jungle. Unfortunately it was raining during our visit which made it not as enjoyable as it could have been. When walking it took about 15mins to town. Room and guesthouse basic but comfortable. A lovely host who cooked dinner and breakfast for us. Hot water took a long time to come through in the shower and the guesthouse was quite dark. Overall value for money it was fine.

We stayed at Forest Glen for four nights. The location is a bit secluded, which is very nice. The rooms were as advertised and spacious too. We had a lovely view from the balcony. The owner was helpful but not pushing to talk us into extra arrangements (taxis, tours ...). Value for money was among the best on our trip. We would go there again and recommend to our friends too.

We had a lovely time at Forest Glen. Its a nice house, the rooms are clean and friendly and the surrounding is very peaceful. You can walk to the city in ten minutes or take a tuktuk for 200 Rs. There were a lot of monkeys around (pay attention to your belongings!). We can really recommend this place

I loved this place. Hindra is amazing, lovely and helpful. Awesome location inside the forest. Nice walk into town also I will stay here next time I visit Kandy, Josh
