Great hostel with heaps of character. It has a really nice chilled out feeling which is helped by having some great staff working there.

Great little hostel, excellent location, friendly staff and top atmosphere. Only stayed for 1 night but couldn't fault it.

No wifi in room,not warm enough I feel cold when I sleep

The location is excellent. The coal fire with the old designed lounge area added a lot of character I thought. I felt the place was pretty cold. I would recommend if staying in Fort william

I enjoyed my stay at Fort William Backpackers a lot, everything was great: top location, great atmosphere and the staff was very, very friendly!

This hostel is very beautiful, romms are clean and there are some free spaces. Teh breakfast (milk, tea, sugar ecc) are free. The wifi is available for everybody. It you go to Frort William and you are searching for a cheap place to stay I can reccomend it!

excellent, good hostel ( maybe the best in UK I've stayed in) some noisy and inconsiderate guests.. rules of the house should apply to non-native English speakers too ( French , Belgian and Spanish to note !) overall, a very well run and clean hostel.. i WILL stay there again. Thanks for a great week

Awesome hostel! Steady, comfy beds, great staff, clean and well equipped kitchen (actually the best I ever saw in a hostel), hot showers, fantastic location - what more can you wish for?! Too bad we only stayed for one night, definitely not enough time to fully enjoy the place. Gotta come back one day and find out what we missed! :o)

The staff was super friendly and I loved the house and the location. The house was maybe a little cold.

Great place! Cozy, beautiful location and a very friendly atmosphere.

Everything is good except that the radiator never work, and it\'s really cold in winter\'s scotland. the staff said it work sometimes to warm the room and then stops. but what my feeling is it works very little time, and it\'s hard even to warm itself, not to mention the room. Really cold rooms and hard to sleep. if it\'s in winter, i definitely not recommand this hostel. if in summer, the hostel is perfect in every aspect.

Had a fantastic time here, staff very friendly and helpful, location fantastic - right by the town yet still very close to the surrounding mountainside. Felt at home right from the start, didn't want to leave!
