First, the staff is fantastic. The only person I interacted with was a young Canadian. She was very helpful and accommodating with lots of good suggestions on things to do on a day trip elsewhere in Scotland. The facility itself was pretty clean, which is the most important point in my view. but it could use some upgrades. That said, it's hard to justify that complaint based on the price. It's definitely a true backpacker's hotel, and my experience was a positive one.

Nice hostel, not sparkling clean but good enough. One of those where you meet 10 new people in the first 10 minutes of your stay. No lockers in the room unfortunately and not nearly enough fridges for everyones food.

Except the creepy guy practically living in our room (ie eating, chilling out, sleeping), this hostel is great ! Great kitchen, cosy living room... and since we are super lucky no rain that day so staff made a bonefire on the terrace. :) For people without a car : it's fairly easy to go from the hostel to Glen Nevis by foot. Train station is a 10mn walk away so you can come by train.

We really enjoyed our stay here, was a very cosy homely hostel. Nice rooms and facilities. Would definitely recommend staying here, one of my favorite hostels in Scotland.

Aboslutely loved the hostel. The staff was really nice and helpful. In the evening he gave us advice on the isle of skye (and the rest of scotland) for at least 20minutes (without checking his watch ;) ). The atmosphere was brilliant.

When my friend and I arrived we were welcomed by a very friendly and nice guy, with the cutest dog ever. We were way too early to check in, but he made an exception and we already got the key and could leave our backpacks there. We loved our stay at this hostel, lots of funny and supernice people, cozy livingroom, close to beautiful places, ... We will definetely come back when we visit Scotland again!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good kitchen facilities. Wifi limited to some rooms. Drying room could be bigger and hotter but apart from that it's an extremely good hostel that I'd highly recommend

Bad: Couldn't get wi-fi in the dorms or common room. Good: Friendly and helpfull staff. Located 5min from Fort William train station and bus stop. Accessible to base of Ben Nevis (about 1hour on foot). Outdoor shops that hire equipment nearby. Morrisons only 5min walk.
