This hostel is okay. The security is almost non existent though, it would be easy for anyone to just walk into this hostel. There are no lockers in the room and no place to lock up any valuables. Wifi worked well and everything was reasonably clean. Lots of great hang out space.

The hostel is just up a hill from everything you need in Fort William, and theres an entrance to the hills all around for some awesome walks. Didn't fully know who was staff and lots of the guests were kinda grumpy. I think the vibe was very relaxed and the beds were comfy. Would recommend.

Reading the great reviews was looking forward to staying after a week camping &walking West Highland Way. Checkin the guy couldnt tell me where the official end to West Highland Way was or if any shops/restaurants open in town. Mattress on bed was so thin. I was hoping for a decent comfy bed. Unisex bathroom had two showers both dirty &no lockers in the room, nowhere to set belongings while in shower. Condescending manager, but got refund &left. First hostel walked out of in 15years hostelling!!

Staff friendly and helpful, hostel in lovely situation with views over the loch and mountains. My only complaint is the mattresses on the beds- thin pieces of foam and not comfortable at all!

It was a home away from home! Everyone was extremely kind and friendly. It's easy to start conversations with each other, offer advice, and even change your plans together. The beds were comfortable, and the showers are very nice. The rooms a bit small, and if you're in a group, they only give you one key and the doors automatically lock, so make sure you bring your key whenever you leave the room. The kitchen is well equip with all tools to cook food, and they even offer free hot cocoa.

Excellent, with friendly staff, a fire-warmed sociable living room with plenty of places to sit, a good kitchen and showers. They don't have specific bicycle storage, but you can store a bike in their shed.

Despite the cold water in the showers and the mattresses a bit too thin, there's a nice cosy atmosphere, ideal to chill out after a day out hiking.
