All in all I had a good stay there. I had all that I needed. I really appraciated the free tea, coffee and hot chocolat.

Quirky good fun. Whether you're going to hike Ben Nevis or just trying to escape the city for a few days, this awesome hostel is perfect for everyone. Wonderful staff, great location, and cozy vibe.

Chekced in early to spotless hostel, was allocated great bunk with superb view, then went out for day. Got back late to find that due to unforeseen double booking, my bed had disappeared. Immediately offered full refund and complementary breakfast. However, at 10pm only remaining bunk a top bunk - have mobility issues so was inaccessible. Manager then gave me own room - extraordinary act of humanity and kindness - puts Backpackers in another league. 6 stars!

Hostel was a bit rough and ready and needed decoration inside and out. Kitchen was always very busy so you had to pick your time. There are few cooking facilities, which could have made cooking an ordeal, but I chose to eat out anyway as I was only there for a couple of days. The staff couldn't have been nicer and friendlier and the atmosphere in the lounge of an evening (roaring open fire) was very relaxing. The bedrooms were a little too hot but the beds were lovely and comfy.

This place is definitely one of the cosiest hostels ever! We enjoyed lounging around the fire playing guitar and singing songs with fellow backpackers and is a memory I will never forget! Upon arrival the receptionist greeted us warmly and we got chatting right away. She recommended great things for us to do. Beds were what you'd expect of a hostel, but the free tea & hot chocolate was a treat! The kitchen was well equipped and a much cheaper option than dining out. Would love to come back!

The free hot chocolate would have been enough to make me happy, but with the addition of an awesome staff and a comfy, warm bed in a clean room with a beautiful view of Fort William, I was in a state of bliss. But seriously, that free hot chocolate was clutch.

This was such a great hostel! Though a little far from Ben Nevis it was right behind the start of another trail that led to a bunch of different hiking trails as well. Very close to the train/bus station as well as a grocery store too! The staff were AWESOME and full of great ideas of hikes. And just very cheerful and fun to be with too. Full Kitchen to use. Although the heating broke when I was there enough blankets and space heaters (and whisky!) was purchased for guests to stay warm.

Very friendly, helpful staff who battled through a tough weekend but remained upbeat and resilient and couldn't do enough to help. Excellent value for money with good facilities within walking distance of the town centre.

Very nice staff and cheap breakfast!

Excellent place to stop, 100% come back. Staff were really welcoming and friendly, good clean facilities. All round great place

Great hostel. Nice staff and good atmosphere, Well located with nice view of the city. Bedroom clean and tidy and warm (importante in the winter :) Kitchen very organized with everthing you need, Also with coffe and tea for free :) Bathrrom clean and the shower was very good.

Had a great time here. Ryan (mgr) was a super host.

I am sour about this hostel because despite being told that the people staying there were regulars, someone stole food and drinks out of the fridge. That and there was someone sick in the room and it was pretty gross. The receptionist Kelsey was amazing though.

Wii fi not available in rooms and other parts of the building

friendly, cosy hostel. Lovely lounge and good dining area with a great view

Perfect place to stay if you like outdoors sports ! From the hostel you can hike many trails ! If you are planning to hike Ben Navis mountain, it's the best hostel for you to stay !
