This hostel is in a nice location but I wasn't real keen on the lack of privacy in the uni-sex showers or the lack of cleanliness either. The rooms are cramped with very little room for storage and there are far better value for money places to be found

The hostel is really nice, it has a lot of character. However, the staff was a bit arrogant and unfriendly. Not really welcoming.

This was a great hostel! Possibly the best I have stayed in. It is really cozy and great for kicking back after a long day hiking in the great surrounding mountains. I would recommend it.

only put up the we are full sign when you are actually full-I was not impressed when Trevor turned people away when there were spaces available or when he could not be bothered to answer the phone when it was ringing in front of him

This is a pretty solid, fairly cheap hostel with lots of character. Be careful of Midges! Horrible little mosquito-like bugs that infest the area, the hostel (and surrounding city) is full of them. Also, take advantage of fully stocked kitchen and nearby grocery store (Morrison's).

The place itself was great, but the other 'guests' were a bet unfriendly, but thats no fault of the hostel!
