I thought this place was good. Staff were really friendly, the room had the home comforts you needed. I guess the place was a bit old and worn but it brought it charm. Full English breakfast that was included was brilliant. There were two really small cute quiet dogs but i guess its worth mentioning to people in case they are allergic to fur. the bed was very squeaky which is prob the only reason why i wouldnt stay there again. but overall for one person for one night it was great.

Peaceful, relaxing and well-located for those unbothered about being within walking distance of Birmingham's central sights.

I stayed for 3 nights and found the owners to be helpful. Easy access to the city centre via a short bus trip stopping almost beside hotel. Rustic. Could feel the springs in the mattress which was unfortunate but overall a pleasant stay and suitable for the price.

Upon arrival at Fountain Court, we were greeted by their little dog and were given a warm welcome by the owner. Fountain Court Hotel is like a home from home - the bed was very comfortable and clean and the bathroom was immaculate (very important to me). They were very helpful when we had WIFI issues which was resolved. The breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed and we loved the filter coffee. We shall be staying again, no doubt about it!

We had one night in Birmingham, having booked from Australia on the net, and we now have memories of Christmas 2012 in a welcoming city with all our traveling needs met.

W had a wonderfull night, hotel i close the town centre with the main clups. Also breakfast was very good. Rooms clean and tidy. The only disadvantage is that that our room was at the side of road, so it was a bit noisy.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. A little far from the city centre but the buses were easy to get. Would stay here again.

Friendly place to stay. Rooms needing updating but very clean and comfortable. Only 10 mins on the bus into the centre.

It is a very nice hotel in a very british environment. Breakfast is really good and the staff is very friendly. However, do not expect too much of the matrasses. Mine was at least nearly 10 years old with no material on each side. It really needs to be replaced. It will make the stay much more enjoyable.

Very friendly staff here in a well looked after hotel. The main Broad Street area is just a £5 taxi ride away. The rooms are dated compared to 'brand' hotels but they are ensuite, include a tv and are reasonable for the cost.

Not knowing Birmingham we were a bit disappointed when we realised how far the Fountain Court was from the NEC, however when we had registered and found how friendly and helpful the owners were we were pleased that we had chosen the hotel. Will certainly go there again if we are in Birmingham.
