I am an American traveling for the first time to Ireland and this hostel was fantastic. Easy to meet people, great staff, hipster atmosphere, and really fun. I would suggest this hostel over any other in the temple bar area.

My toilet did not work the entire time I was there. I told the staff about it numerous times, and would come back to the room to find it still not working. The shower only came on for 5 seconds at a time (instead of 20 seconds) and it was freezing cold water. I had some clothes to give away as I had bought lots of souvenirs and when I asked the front desk staff where I could donate the clothes, they asked to see what I wanted to donate for themselves! Made me very uncomfortable.

This hostel is within walking distance of most tourist attractions in Dublin. The dorm room I was in was spacious, clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. You are given a key card for the dorm room and a security pass for the hostel. The price includes free breakfast, free internet access and apparently free international 'phonecalls. The staff were helpful. If the hostel was cleaner, in the dorms and shared spaces, it would be five star.

I had two very bad experiences with the staff of this hostel. They are rude, and didn´t help me properly. The rest is fine.

Booked for a two night stay in advance and had to move rooms, so essentially had to pack up, leave our luggage for 3hrs on the second day in the luggage room until we could move into our new room, the only downfall really, although if you were staying in a dorm style room we didnt have lockers to lock anything in.

Great hostel. Staff was really helpful, security was very inforced, everything was clean. A bit out of the way of the main part of town but worth it for how nice the hostel was. Definitely recommend!

the rooms were great and spacious, though we did buy out a room for four and only had three people. The breakfast was everything you expected it to be, but the front desk people were very helpful and gave great tips for places to eat and drink. A lot is available to purchase at the front desk and the location is really great to reach pretty much all of the tourist attractions. I don't think we walked more than 15 minutes to really anywhere. Overall, I would stay here again:)

We really enjoyed our time in the Four Courts Hostel. The greatest advantages were the free Wifi, the free phone calls and the not existing curfew.

Great location and facilities. Large hostel so didn't have much atmosphere. Rooms and kitchen were big and clean. Staff very helpful. Breakfast finishes early (9am) so keep that in mind! OK overall a good stay.

Our double room was cramped but clean. The 20-sec shower button was annoying.

An okay hostel, but it was hard to get help from the staff at all, felt like we were being an inconvenience to them when we asked them questions, especially when trying to store our luggage. Other than that good facilities.

Everyone was really nice, it had plenty of room to hang out, and I liked the location -- a little removed but not too far. And it ended up being near an area (Smithfield) that I explored a lot.

Very nice hostel with great staff and nice location. I'd certainly recommend it! A pity there was only 2 (bad) toilettes for 30 people...

This is a great location for access to The Temple Bar district, as well as to the bus system. As far as hostels go, it didn't stand out, but it definitely gave us what we were looking for - a place to sleep. The staff does clean the entire room even if one person leaves, so that's good. My only issue was that there was only one toilet on our floor outside the ensuite bathroom. All in all, decent stay.

It's kind of annoying that they kick you out of the kitchen to clean it when they close it for the night at 11. I don't see why they couldn't clean it then. Other than that and the drafty rooms it was a nice place to stay. Only a 5-8 minute walk from Temple Bar, and right on the river. If I go back to Dublin this place will be one of the few I'll choose from

Loved this place, would definitely stay again. Really active common area with people who are okay staying in on their computers, but if that isn't your thing, there are plenty of people going out and about.
