Great location at the edge of the Temple Bar district, within walking distance of Trinity College, Brazen Head, Dublin Spire, and many other things. Safe and fun atmosphere without getting too rowdy. Large, clean common areas with a modern kitchen. We felt the twin private room with ensuite was worth the extra few euro. It was cozy but still plenty of room for our luggage.

The only negative thing was the loudness from the traffic in the street all night long. So bring earplugs!

This was my first hostel I ever stayed at and I have stayed at many since I posted this review, and I can honestly say that Four Courts Hostel is the best and funnest and easiest place to stay in all of england. They don't have any hidden fees or strange surprises or anything of the sort. Just straight forward and great to be there too. The staff is funny and looks like they are enjoying their jobs. Plus the guitars are a nice touch too!

Earplugs saved the nights. Located next to a road with loud traffic round the clock, which is about the only thing we didn\'t like with the hostel. Staff owned though, of all the things rated above they get a gold star too. :)

I loved Four Courts. This was my first time staying in a hostel, and now my standards have been set very high. The hostel had everything I could have wanted--clean sheets, free wifi, computers, kitchen, TV, an elevator, excellent security, etc. And the staff is very friendly and very helpful. They are willing to answer any question you have, and give directions should you need them.

This is a very nice hostel! Pretty centrally located in Dublin. They have under-bed lockers so bring a bigger lock than one just made for a suitcase. Also-- they do say this in the description-- the 12 and 16-person rooms share a bathroom, but it wasn't really a problem. Overall a great value!

Four courts was such a great place to stay in Dublin. The staff was very accommodating and were so nice. They seemed like a fun bunch too. The beds were pretty comfortable, and there's lockers underneath your bed that you can store a large bag or suitcase. Bring your own lock or rent one from the front desk. Great location, in the heart of Dublin and around the corner from Brazen Head, maybe 5-7 min from Temple Bar area. Wifi only on ground floor. Will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Wifi was free but couldn't get it on the top floor - we had to use the lounge which was plenty big enough. Only a few showers - we were on the top floor and there was only 1 for about 14 rooms. We just showered at night and never had problems.

The hostel is clean and spacious and a good value. My friends and I were so satisfied that we opted to book again for the end of our trip. The breakfast is 'simple' (cereals and toast) but that's what we expected and it was always well stocked. For one night we were upgraded to a smaller dorm room and appreciated all the help from the friendly (and often funny!) staff :) Thank you!

It is a good hostel. Clean and with great young and international atmosphere. The beds are quite confortable, and the 16-bedroom is big enough to have a good rest. But I missed more showers/toilets.

What a nice place to stay-- everyone was welcoming and nice, the only thing was it was a little dirty in the shared bathroom. But not unbearably.

Considering the price, the position, the staff and the services (free wi-fi, free international phone call!) it can easily be the best accommodation in Dublin, especially for a group
