The person at the front desk in the morning was new and didn't know what he was doing. The other employees were very helpful, but the new employee should not have been at the front desk by himself.

I thought the hostel was great. I was really happy to have warm water from the shower after walking around all day. All in all, it is a safe, secure place to reside for a short term.

Everything was great. I only had two small issues. The 20 second shower button. While you "can" just keep pressing the button it dos get slightly annoying, but I do come from a country plentiful of water so I'm just spoiled. The other is the breakfast. What they do offer is fine, I was just hoping for some form of protein.. eggs, cold cuts, would have been nice. Those two things are very negligible though. Overall Excellent hostel, a great stay for any person.

our say at the hostel was just ok. It was not bad but not really good either. It was a bit far from the center, there were no lockers in the room, nor places to put down stuff in the room. Shades could have been nice, as the outside street light was really bright and kept making me think it is morning... And a nice face lift might give the place a nicer feel to it.

Great place. Felt very safe with the security, lots of activities to do when hanging out around the hostel. Staff was very friendly and helpful with answering any questions about the area. Included breakfast was great! The only complaint I would have is that there was no hand soap in the washrooms in our rooms, and the hand soap dispenser in the common washroom downstairs was empty the whole time I was there, so slightly unsanitary! But otherwise I really enjoyed my stay!

Nine of us (college students) stayed in the ten person mixed dorm and we shared one bathroom. It was a bit difficult to take a shower because you have to keep pressing the button for water to come out and there's no temperature knob. But other than that, the location was awesome and the rooms were really clean with lockers under the bed. Although the breakfast wasn't the best, it was nice to have some toast and cereal before leaving early for the airport.

The housekeeping staff was rude on 3 separate occasions (I stayed only 1.5 days). My room was dirty, the bathroom even worse. There is one outlet in the room and it is only accessible by the bed whose directly next to it. Their idea of "linens" was a thin, old comforter. They do not provide towels. The front desk was more concerned with their own conversations than with checking me in - I had to listen to a 5 minute complaint regarding the status of the internet before I could get my key. AWFUL!

Overall good experience. My only negative comment is nowhere to hang a towel or clean clothes in the bathroom of my dorm. While I could've left that stuff in the dorm and come out wet and naked, I probably shouldn't in a unisex dorm. I dumped the stuff into a rubbish sack to keep it clean though so wasn't such a big deal.

I found the hostel very relaxed but well organised with attentive, obliging staff who interacted with guests and made everyone feel very welcome.

It s a good option, clean, nice atmosphere, cheap but I have some concerns> i think is not good that you have to pay if you want to borrow an adaptor and then they dont give you the money back Also the location was not as good as i expected, it a bit far from the city centre

The hostel is nice enough but noise is out of control, the private rooms for a few people are right next to 16 person rooms and there seems to be no control over people running through the halls knocking on doors and yelling in the middle of the nights for several nights in a row. Th security of the building is actually quite good, but if you are touring and want to sleep it might be tough.

All in all, a great place. Free WiFi is available in common areas, but common areas were often too loud for Skype calls, and the kitchen was very crowded! Very clean, super helpful and friendly staff, free city tours, secure building, and showers were hot and always available. I started in a private room with shared bath and would definitely return here next trip to Dublin.

I liked my stay at 4C very much. The staff are great. The location is perfect. It's clean and the rooms are ok for the price. I stayed at shared dorms and they are as in most places. I asked for a change of bed and the staff were very nice and accommodating. The only drawback is noise in common areas (that's not the hostel's fault of course, just the noisy guests who are much younger than me and in party mood) but the rooms on the third floor were not noisy at all. I'd definetely reccommend it.

The staff were great. They helped us with where to go, and advised a pub crawl. [always a bonus] Though I didnt experience it, [i was asleep] some of my group I was with said that there was live music in the downstairs area and it was very chilled out and relaxed. We'd definitely stay again.
