I liked my stay at 4C very much. The staff are great. The location is perfect. It's clean and the rooms are ok for the price. I stayed at shared dorms and they are as in most places. I asked for a change of bed and the staff were very nice and accommodating. The only drawback is noise in common areas (that's not the hostel's fault of course, just the noisy guests who are much younger than me and in party mood) but the rooms on the third floor were not noisy at all. I'd definetely reccommend it.

The staff were great. They helped us with where to go, and advised a pub crawl. [always a bonus] Though I didnt experience it, [i was asleep] some of my group I was with said that there was live music in the downstairs area and it was very chilled out and relaxed. We'd definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Hostel was awesome! I really loved the atmosphere. However, I wish the wifi signal was a bit stronger. I kept getting kicked off the internet. But overall this was a pretty sweet Hostel! I definitely will recommend it to friends.

This hostel was good. The only thing was that the 16 bed and 12 bed rooms had to share a small bathroom and shower. Also the internet would keep kicking me off on my iPhone. Other than that, the staff was great and the hostel was in a great location.

Overall, this place was good. Met some interesting characters here. I negative comment I have is that, in room 302 where I was staying, right above my bed, above my head , was what I can describe as a brown, waterspot, gross looking mark on the roof, and it grossed me out. just a bit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. There is a large kitchen to cook and store food. The rooms are kept clean. The staff was unbelievably helpful and did not hesitate to recommend great places to visit in Dublin. I would definitely stay here again.

Not only were they great hosts but the staff went out of their way to make our stay special. It is in a great location right in the heart of the city and a close walk to anywhere you want to go. Four Court Hostel was a fantastic stay I recommend it highly.

It was a pleasant stay, but two showers for 28 people is a way to less and the windows are not sealed!

Very nice breakfast. Staff has to open the front door. But if they are away, you have to wait in the freezing cold... (happened once)

The Four Courts Hostel was awesome! The staff was soooooo friendly and they answered the many questions we had. Malichy (not sure of spelling) was especially great. My friend and I met three other girls who were visiting Dublin on their own and we became fast friends, even going on tours and for meals together. That was key to how great our vacation turned out. Can't really say enough great things. The things that come with a stay are amazing! Free WiFi and international calls?! LOVED IT.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Location was good and walkable to all attractions in Dublin. Free internet was VERY helpful for researching things to do and booking day trips - also staying in touch with back home when needed. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Hostel is alright it's just so big with different travelers that it's not a great place to meet people. Also, my credit card was electronically stolen on the computers when I booked a flight on Ryanair. Not sure if computers cached my info or if Ryanair sold it (ha) but either way I don't think I'll be back.

One problem is that toilets are inadequate compared to the number of beds in the dorms. For istance the 12 beds dorm and the 18 beds dorm are connetted and share the same bathroom (ensuite), composed of only two showers (1 of them out of order), two sinks and two WC: too little especially if dorms are crowded. Another problem are windows, that are without wasistas: so it is difficult renewing air in the dorms

The hostel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel wasn't particularly a good place to mingle but that may be a symptom of the large groups that come for NYE. As a seasoned hostel pubcrawler I definitely wouldn't recommend the pub crawl they do (particularly for NYE). We paid 30 euros and got half a guinness, a cheap shot and dragged round a load of loud characterless bars we could have gone for free anyway. To top it off we got left behind by the organiser by 10.30. Poor!
