room was clean, we stayed in a 4bed ensuite dorm. Bed was ok. It was nice, but it was quiet, we were put right up the back, away from everything even though the place was very empty. Didnt use the kitchen or anything but it looked fine. Good for 1 night stop to see the glacier, not much else going on around this time of year.

The owner/manager went above and beyond. We were beyond happy with our stay. A relaxing, cozy, clean and inviting place. I highly recommend to all!

We have problem with the heater in our room. The manager was nice and fixed it before night. Overall, it is an average hostel. Fine for one night stay and no further than that.

The Inn is centrally located within Fox Glacier, has excellent facilities (including laundry and wifi) and the room I was in was clean and spacious and had an ensuite bathroom. I would definitely recommend the Fox Glacier Inn.

Definitely one of the more austere hostels I visited, which can be a good thing if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of places like Queenstown or Nelson. Nice and clean, and a good restaurant attached that does sit down meals and takeaway; good if you don't want to go out into the rain!

I had a wonderful stay at the Fox Glacier Inn. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Thank you especially to the manager Shane, one of the nicest most helpful people I have met.

No communal area at all so very poor for socializing but there is a tv in the room, and poor kitchen facilities! Ok if staying for just one night

Hostel was clean, room was very basic, but did have a TV. Kitchen was on the small side. There was zero atmosphere. Fine for an overnight stay, but any longer than that would be a struggle for anyone who wants the social side of a hostel.

LOVED this hostel. Shane the manager was an absolute Legend! Helped me book tours, suggested things I could do around town that were free, and convinced me to do my first Skydive. Amazing and 1000% recommend. Also very accommodating as I had to move my booking by one day. Great hostel, staff was excellent.

Mel, one of the owners is a real gem! She is really interested in your well being, and really genuine. She offered me a ride to the lake, when it appeared that shuttles only drove there if there were at least 2 people to pick up (I was alone). Very nice place to stay!
