Having booked a single room I was pleasantly surprised with the double bed and large room I received. The room facilities were very good and staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Franciscus for 3 nights in May 2012. The room was clean and relatively spacious. The bed was very confortable, especially after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast was ok. The staff were very friendly and upon arrival we recieved a map of Verona and some insider tips. Location was very good - close to the town center and not far from the train station. Overall, excellent value for money.

The hotel is fine but they need to work more on client service. If you have a hotel you need to compromise yourself and receive people even when it is a hollyday. We arrived on easter sunday and we were received by the cleaning lady who keept our passports and we didn't know anything about them until the next day. We suposse the owner wanted to have a little vacation and thats the reason why he forced me to arrive earlier to the hotel (before 3pm) and I had to change my travel schedule.

the best point is its being close to both railway station and also to the city center.
