Good day Charlotte Thank you for your excellent feedback, we very much appreciate taking the time to leave us such a good review. Alan Kelly and Ty Skinner were the duo playing on the Thursday and they play here at Frasers every Thursday evening. A great mix of Irish cultural music and popular covers. We are very proud of our staff, they are always willing to help and make your stay comfortable. Take care and enjoy the remainder of your trip

Booked to stay 2 nights from their photo's of the double rooms. Cut our stay short as double room was actually a dorm room with a bunk double bed. Room was not clean. Locks on the balcony and main room doors were poor and the noise levels were dreadful right through the night. Not a pleasant experience and would not recommend it to friends. When we first arrive staff were unwelcoming.Expected us to have a deposit of $50 or our passports neither of which we had as no prewarning and were then rude

Hi Christina Thank you for leaving feedback, we are sorry to hear your stay with us was not to your liking. Some of our double rooms do have a bunk above for families, if you did not approve of the room then we would have been more than happy to show you another which may have suited. Our room security is very important to us and I can assure you the locks are in great working order. Please note that before you make a booking on HostelWorld, it clearly states that all guests checking in must have either a passport or $50 as deposit so am not sure why you were surprised by this. We hope the remainder of your trip is more to your liking

The hostel was dirty, the kitchen and its contents were also dirty. The fridges were broken so could not store food. Paid for a private room with shared bathroom and was told that there were two rooms sharing the bathroom, however there was also a six bed dorm room as soon as we entered the unit. So in actual fact there were at least 10 people to share one bathroom. The room door was open when we arrived and the beds were not made. The pool had mould in the bottom and there was nothing to do!

Hi Charlene Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately there was a point for 2 days where we were waiting for a part to arrive to fix our fridges and as were are a very small town, it can sometimes take a little longer for these to arrive. There were signs all over the fridges offering our guests to use our cold room which was used by most and had no problems there. Our double rooms with a shared bathroom are there for the convenience of guests who cannot afford to pay a higher rate for a double room with an en-suite but still receive the privacy of their own room, anyone who books this room is made aware of the amount of people using the bathroom. Looking back on your booking, you checked in just after check out time and were told the cleaners were working their way around the rooms. We checked you in early for your convenience in being able to use the bathroom and store your bags. We did this to help you. With regards to the pool, after a lot of rainwater falls in the pool (as we have had recently) it mixes with the chemicals in the pool and leaves a sediment on the bottom of the pool, this is not mould. Only until more chlorine and salt is added, does this disappear which means waiting until the rain stops. This sediment is not harmful in anyway. Thank you for your comments about our kitchen area, we are currently in the process of upgrading our kitchen and it's facilities and should be finished in the coming months. Please be aware that our kitchen is cleaned 4 times daily and is constantly monitored. Again, thank you for your feedback and we hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.

Good day Emma Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Upon check-in, we tell all of our guests (if it is before 2pm) that the cleaners are working their way around the rooms and that they will be ready by 2pm. We give you the option to check in the room there and then so you can deposit your bags in there and go out and enjoy your day. The other option we offer is to deposit your bags in our luggage room but as most people have just got off a long bus ride, they prefer to go into the room straight away. We do this for the convenience of yourselves so you can keep your things secure in your room. I am unsure as to what you mean by unsecure? All of our rooms have locks on our doors and we try to enforce other guests to close the doors behind them. Again, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and all the best with your future travels

it's a nice place and in front of greyhound stop (even if the town is soooo small!) the staff is really helpfull and there is a bar on the ground floor where you can spend you night, have a drink, listening music, playing on the pool....it was a pity that was raining all the day!

The worse place iv ever stayed. I stayed in a double with a shared bathroom shared bathroom was between another double room and a 6 dorm one shower one bathroom thankfully not a full room would have been unmanageable if so. Cockroaches in room and bathroom. Music played loudly from 4 o'clock so couldn't watch the communal tv which ment there was nothing to do. Pool was a mess and the kitchen area just as bad.

Good day Lauren We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your time here with us. Upon check in, our guests are made aware of the shared bathrooms, had you not been happy with this then we would have been able to show you one of private en-suite rooms which may have been more to your liking. Our pool, communal areas and kitchen are cleaned several times a day as are our rooms. Again, we apologise if you feel the the hostel was not up to our usual standards Take care and enjoy the rest of your trip

I enjoyed my stay here. The barman in particular wanted people to have a good time and had great banter. The front staff were very very friendly and very helpful. If I had to have a dig I'd say the rooms were a wee bit outdated, but that's a minor quibble. I'd recommend it. I had a great time.

Nice Hostel which is as clean or not as any other Hostel in OZ. Facilities are OK (they have everything you need but you need to pay for everything) and that's why I have to say that value for money is just average, not more not less.

G'day Timor Thank you for your recent feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope that you will visit us again soon. I am a little unsure as to what facilities you had to pay for. We ask all customers to leave either a passport or $50 deposit for anything that you would like to borrow from us but this is fully refundable upon check out with the return of the items. The passport or $50 deposit covers you for dinner sets, blankets, sheets, sports equipment, keys and anything else you may require. We do not charge a fee for these. Thank you again for your feedback and we wish you all the best for your future travels
