The best think in this hostel is the position,in fact only two minute for the beach that i found it amazing. The hostel is pretty poor and the kitchen is the worst one that I ever see!

The hostel is great! It was a real treat to get a room with a balcony! Loved it! The receptionist was really helpful, even gave me some insider info for my next few stops along the way!

Overall a good hostel. Rooms are Nothing to fancy, could do with a little love and attention but clean.had a little mix up with the room, unfortunately one we had realised the reception had closed (7pm). Good social area/bar and loved the live music and meals available.

Bar was good with cheap meal deals. Nice atmosphere with live music. Unfortunatly not clean at all. Kitchen is a mess and often crowded. Rooms haven´t been cleaned very often, ceiling was moldy..

G'Day Mario Thank you for your comments, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed the social atmosphere but disappointed that you thought our cleanliness lacked. All of our rooms are cleaned every day upon checkout, I think you may be referring to room 6 when you stayed? If so this was due to a leak which we were waiting on a plumber to attend to. Unfortunately as Rainbow Beach is such a small town, it can often take a few days for one to come and see us. As we have been extremely busy recently, we did not have any other rooms to move people into so sincerest apologies for this. This room has now been fixed and repainted. Our kitchen is also cleaned several times per day and can be a little busy when everyone decides to cook at the same time whilst also not doing their dishes after themselves. We have signage up everywhere asking them to be respectful to others using the kitchen facilities but this is not always adhered to. Again, thank you for your comments and we hope the remainder of your trip is amazing. Frasers On Rainbow

Hi Agnese Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to hear you thought our hostel was dirty. If you could please elaborate on where you thought was dirty that would be great. All of our common areas are cleaned several times per day and our rooms are cleaned daily. Thank you for your time Frasers on Rainbow

The hostel is quite expensive compare to the ones we did on the east coast but it doesn't worth it, specially due to the fact that the kitchen is really dirty : open bins, fridges absolutely gross and smelly. The bathrooms need also to be cleaned more often...

+ The room was clean. The swimming pool is not bad. They have a bar and you can also have a good dinner there for a cheap price. - No free internet. No towel. The bathroom was dirty. We booked 2 double rooms but got one family room instead.

I enjoyed my time there in Rainbow Beach. The hostel is right across the street from the bus stop and is only 2 blocks from the beach. The guided walk to Carlo Sand Blow was really fun, got to throw a boomerang that comes back. Plus you can buy a $25 pint card that gets you 5 pints. Only downside is that people come and go because of the Fraser Island Tour. But I did enjoy my stay at this hostel.

Room door didn't lock, room far too hot with no fans(!) and plastic mattresses! But very, very friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere :)

Great hostel for a party - large and busy bar area. Good location a short walk to the beach and town. Not very clean, particularly the kitchen, so possibly better to opt for the cheap meals available. Dorms are en-suite, though all rooms could do with a bit of a sweep.
