Directions to Frasers at Cathedral Beach

Fraser Island is a National Park, therefore a Vehicle Permit is required (phone QPWS on 13 1304) to be on the Island. Driving is entirely on sand, therefore it is a must that your vehicle is four Wheel Drive.
4WD vehicle hire can be arranged fron either Rainbow Beach or Hervey Bay and this is the responsibility of the Guest
Barges depart from Inskip Point via Rainbow Beach, arrival onto the Island is at Hook Point which is best done at low tide. Barges also depart from Hervey Bay (from Marina & also River Heads). Barges are an extra charge and bookings are required.
