The hostel was good, but a few things frustrated me. The staff were all very kind, but only one of them spoke good English, so I spent half of my stay trying and failing to ask for information. Another thing was that there was no kitchen or common room. It kind of felt more like a hotel than a hostel at times, with en-suites and TVs in the dorms. The location was excellent though, 10 mins from the station and 5 mins from the main square.The hostel was good, but a few things frustrated me. I had really god time both at Freddy s and in Tirana. Freddy and his brother were very helpfull and social. Freddy is a super nice host! We stayed in a house 5 minutes away from the main hostel address. The house had a private court for our car and that was very reassuring...Freddy is a super nice host! Good central location. Didn't meet Freddy but his father was very welcoming even though his English was very minimal and our Albania is non-existant! freddy is ace. He will come and pick you up from the airport. Location is so close to the best places to go and Freddy and other staff were extremely helpful giving directions and advice. The rocket fuel coffee at breakfast time goes down a treat too!!freddy is ace. He will come and pick you up from the airport.
