It was an average place, with a good location and clean and comfortable beds. Also, it has two toilets and a huge bath. The problems are lacking of security (we didn't receive any key for the block or for the entrance to the hostel, and there were any locker neither) and staff with zero knowledge of english, which is very awkard when you are a foreigner in Russia.

The room we were offered first (room for 5) was smelly and really really poor looking, dirty carpet and mattresses. Seemed like it was never cleaned. Luckily they had a smaller room which was just as smelly, but at least was not too dirty. We liked stuff straight away, besides the time when three of us and another two people from this hostel were waiting the receptionshist to wake up and open the door for us. They were really rude afterwards! I will never ever stay there again!

1. The staff didn't speak English at all. 2. It was said that we get breakfast, the receptionist herself promised we will get and of course we didn't. 3. After the first night we were moved to another hostel which didn't even have toilet paper. We waited outside the receptionist for 2 and half hours and of course she didn't appear. Luckily, at the end we found out that our luggage was waiting inside the hostel and there were beds for all of us.

Very dirty and unhygienic atmosphere. Communication was quite a challenge, and the promised Internet connection was woeful at best.

Hey I arrived to the hostel and there I decided not to stay there. They have no keys for the rooms and no lockers. The place was very dirty and having in mind that they are from russia , it was impossible to communicate because they didn´t speak english. The common room was very dirty and there was no kitchen to cook. I think that having this hostel in your web page gives you bad reputation.

rudest unfriendliest staff ive ever seen. no body said hello once and on check in i had to wake the staff up at 1pm after waiting out in the snow for 10 minutes waiting to get inside. didnt tell me anything or show me around. just grunted at me and pointed to my bed. whole place stinks of cigarette smoke and wifi is very slow in the rooms. the room was so cold that my bottle of milk was frozen solid overnight. no tourists stayed here only russians and old people. nobody cares about the guests...

We left after one night of our two night stay. We didn't feel safe, there were no lockers and the guys above me on my bunk freely told us that he had only recently been let out of prison and was pretty scarey. The dorm smelled and was in a mess. Kitchen was rubbish and only one shower for 30+ guests. I definately wouldn't recommend staying here, we stayed at one down the road (Old Flat I think) the second night and it was excellent.
