It was a bit of a shambles when we booked well in advance and paid for the hostel, and we got moved not once, but TWICE during a 5 days stay! Clearly they have overbooked the hostel on purpose not caring about the inconvenience caused to the guest. When I booked in a hostel I expect to stay in it the whole time that I have booked for, not to be moved to some random hostel that we have no idea what the quality is. Quite annoying to say the least

When we came up to the hoslel it was fully occupied but we were led to another one and got a better double room that we had paid for. The room was like at 3 stars hotel and we paid for one even without bathroom inside.So, It is great.

They don't have any locker and furnace in the kitchen. When you came for check in, they asked you to pay city registiration fee (250RUB each person up to 3 days) after your reservation they mailed for visa support and they didn't say anything about that city registiration Staff also don't care about anything and there're no kind of fun organisation in hostel.

We had to pay some additional fees for the registration and the amount that we paid to book the room (14 euros) was not deduct from the final price. They told us that those fees were internet related and not at all regarding the room.

I had booked 2 beds from Fredericks Hostel, but they over booked their hostel and we had to go to another hostel which was even more away from city center. Staff in diff hostel was kinda ok and that hostel was clean and ok. Location was not very good, about 30min walk to city center and about 20min walk to the nearest subway station. I´m bit skeptical about the registration what they try to "sell" in those hostels.

After one night to stay at this hostel, they deceided to change us to another hostel because a big group was arriving. Very bad service to be honest.
