the staff is nice when you pay but if they make you a free services or help a bit, they are no longer! Staff = hypocrite !!for them business is business ! It's bad for a hostel that it has like customer essentially travelers wiht a small budget!

Undoubtedly, the best hostel I've been in life. Very kind staff, perfect dorms, a breathtaking view from the belvedere and an uncomparable atmosphere. Just two quarters far from the main avenue in Ushuaia, and relatively close to the airport an harbour. Unforgetable tours may be easily booked by the staff, who are also always ready to give tips about the best ways to enjoy "the end of the world". When I return to Ushuaia (and I really wish to), I will certainly stay again at Free Style.

good breakfast, all day coffee/tea, three nice common areas. good sized lockers in dorms, very clean bathrooms (soap & paper towels!). friendly staff. had unfortunate issue with booking system upon arrival (had booked weeks before online), but hostel was fully booked and had placed my husband and i in different rooms for the first night; the staff did apologize and gave us a free beer, which was nice after our 14 hour bus ride from rio gallegos.

The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and the lobby is comfortable to stay all day long. The only problem was the price for new years party, It was enjoyable but too expensive.

It's a nice hostel good atmosphere and people to hang out, it was crowd and to use the kitchen was a litte bit difficult and the washrooms was messy. The rooms are good and staff helpful, its close to the main street. I recommend stay there!

The hostel itself is great, especially the chillout floor. the facilities are also good, but if you stay in the bathroom, every once in a while you need to push a button to get the light again... I do appreciate the effort to save power, but i paid, so i really don't know why do i have to press a button every 5 minutes. now, the staff - for some odd reason one of the female employees there didn't really like me, didn't really do anything, but the rest were very informative and nice.

Overall good hostel. Good vibe and easy to meet people. The Santa hat guy could have been jolier. Expansive common areas. Solid kitch. We stayed in the 90 peso room, which had OUR OWN FRIDGE! We tried to stowaway for an extra lot of hours til our 4am bus to Calafate, but they caught us and booted us at 10! LAME! They had some issues with the poweOr and subsequently the wifi. Overall great hostel. We prefer cheaper, but it was substanitially sufficient.

Great place to stay. Excellent common areas, spacious and clean rooms, good breakfast. Kitchen is good for self catering. Staff is lovely and very helpful in whatever you need. They have the best tips on tours to do in the city. Enviroment helps to know people and make friends. There is no power source in the rooms for charging your gears, and the blankets they give us are too light for the cold. Consider to have a sleeping bag as backup.

Good atmosphere, with great common areas to meet other traveller's. The net does tend to drop out, but when it is working it is generally pretty quick.

Actually the best hostel in town, the only complaint is that their wifi router breaks down all the time. Like every few minutes and you have to pull the plugs out. They blame it on the town, but their other pc computers work. They just need to invest in a new one. Location great, very clean, very nice common areas. Would def stay here again, over Antarctica hostel as it is cleaner than that one,

Good location, halfway along the length of the city (main street is one very long street) as a result of which you are close to the bus stops, port (if you go to Antarctica!). Common room has a fantastic view over the Beagle Channel, nice couches, a table tennis set and pool table (which costs 2 peso's per game). One of the better hostels I have stayed at. Only thing they should change is the paid internet (relatively expensive and slow). Most hostels is free, Wifi also did not work all time.

Good hostel, central location. It´s very un assuming from the outside, but inside is very large and spacious with large common rooms upstairs. It was very busy so did not have that personal touch like the other hostels we stayed at, but still good value.
