Raul is one of the nicest hostel owners I've ever met, he's also pretty good at chess. It was a great hostel definitely worth the money, perfect location. I will come back.

I highly recommend this hostel. Not only because of the good location and reasonable price but also because from the very beginning you will feel like home.It was clean,the kitchen was fully equipped but above all everyone was really friendly and we had amazing time just with playing Wii and enjoying each others company.. :D

We had a nice stay in Timisoara in the low season. We almost had the place to ourselves and it was quite lovely. The other travelers (all 3 of them) were very genuine and nice to chat with. The hostel is quaint and in a good location. The front door and door to our room were always unlocked, but I am not sure if that is normal, or only because there were so few of us. There are big lockers in the rooms though and I never felt unsafe.

excellent hostel located right off one of the main squares of timișoara. the staff and owners are very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. if you have a question about timișoara they have the answer(s). i would definitely recommend freeborn hostel to anyone staying in timișoara. give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

You can not ask more for a hostel : centrally located ( less than 5 Min to the city centre and the pubs & restaurants area), clean,friendly and usefull stuff. For boring nights you can play for free WII and other electronic games. Definitely worth the money.

The host very nice and take care, introduction where to see, where to eat. everything good in hostel, clean & quite. (only one toilet is not enough, when all guests come bank, it is very busy)

I only wanted to stay 2-3 days, but I ended staying 10 days.The staff was incredible nice and friendly and made me feel like I was at home.I also loved the city very much and the hostel has a perfect location for exploring everything. Very clean.Thanks Madalina and Raul and Razvan for everything!I will definetly be back!

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed.The hostel is clean and is very near to the town center. From there you can visit everything in a few minutes. The staff is great, very friendly, helpfull. Great value for money. I would recommended it with pleasure.
