Very welcoming, I was looked after by staff & various friends of the hostel. A great place to chill out too. I ended up staying a week more. Much better than those impersonal larger hostels! All I would say is label any food you dont want to share, although everyone shares everything.

The hostel atmosphere was excellent!!! It is situated in a lovely area, so you can do a lot by foot. The room was clean and even had a balcony. The recepcionists were very nice, fun and helpful. Once a week they have a BBQ special, definitely a must have! And not to forget, the bar, which made us wonderful Mojito. So, one of the best weeks ever during the our trip!

We arrived at this hostel at 2pm and were told that our room was currently not available as they had lost the key and they weren't sure whether there was someone asleep in the room - not a good start. Became quickly apparent that this was expensive squat. Some sleazy old drunk wandering round common area. Lots of people smoking weed / bongs all over place - if thats your boat then great place otherwise absolute dump. Needless to say we left and found alternative accommodation. DO NOT STAY HERE !

Yes, that day we had a problem with the check-out time in the room where this guest was going to be staying, the person who had been occupying the room the couple of nights before over slept and there was no way to wake him up, we have no right to simply barge in to the room to wake him up because whatever the reason we completely respect the privacy of the people who stay here in our hostel, because he passed the check-out time he was charged an extra day and apologized for the inconvenience. We did, very apologetically offer the option to leave the bags in our storage room until we were able to straighten everything out and would be able to settle them in their room, an option which was not accepted. We are extremely sorry, this was our fault. On the other hand the sleazy old drunk backpacker was a guy who took advantage of all the commotion and mess that the staff was trying to clean up and started doing what he pleased in the common area. When we got a hold of the situation and saw what was going on we took care of it, and last but not least, this hostel at the moment offered travelers to smoke tobacco in HOOKA pipes or also know as water pipes with different essences, yes there were some laying around at the time but we can assure you that they were no more than that.
