' It is not too often that the main attraction at your hostel is the staff. But Hussein at Freedom Hostel maybe one of the best hostel staff people I have ever met in all my years of travel. So very helpful and insightful, not mention extremely personable and kind. He is a true stand-out. As for the hostel itself, it is well keep, clean and affordable. All I look for are clean sheets, a good night's sleep and hot shower at anytime of the day. You'll get that here. The location is the one downside - it's far from the major sites. But I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Cairo.

Genuinely nice hostel, very helpful staff and very good facilities, with a big entrance area and a highly recommendable place to start an adventure in Egypt from.

Freedom Hostel is a pleasant and safe place to stay to discover Cairo. The rooms are very spacious and in a fresh design. The jacuzzi showers in the bathrooms are amazing! This is topped by the very friendly and helpful staff! I will definitely come to this hostel for my next stay in Cairo.

I am so happy that I picked up this hostel so that my trip in Egypt started with the best :-) The tour offered is also nice and good priced and I really enjoyed it. Thanks Peter and hope to return soon to stay in \"Freedom\" again and wish to see also your \"New Egypt\" by then.
