It's a nice hostel to stay in Rome. It's located next to the main train and metro station, the staff was really helpful. It would be better if you could use the elevator whenever you want (it's only for people with luggage). The beds were comfortable, there was enough space in the room. In the other hand, there isn't an oven in the kitchen and the breakfast (which is in front of the hostel) is only coffee with a cornetto.
Very good location, poor social area, but is quite small and makes easy to get to know people. Bedrooms are small. Breakfast is in the restaurant in front of hostel, with dozens of options of restaurant.
Good hostel located near the main train station but the zone seems to be a little bit dangerous if you are thinking of going out at night. The girls from the staff were really helpful and indicated places were not many tourists go to enjoy the real rome. Kitchen was a kind of small, and when it gets crowded you have to wait for cooking. Our double bed room was fine but there weren`t many sockets. However, one night a group of people was trying to get in all the bedrooms of my floor.
if you want to stay in Rome for a while, definitely stop by at there and have a nice residing.
Staff was very helpful, particularly the women on the afternoon/night shifts. Kitchen was great, although if you did not use the kitchen to cook there was not another common room to meet people. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe at this hostel and would definitely return if I am in Rome again!
Near the Termini train station. The staff is really helpful. didn't really interact much with guests though. And we stayed around the corner (rooms which were part of the hostel) from the main location, guess it was booked to capacity.Best price we could find for New Year's Eve.
Thanks to the friendly, funny and very helpful staff! They provided lots of valuable tips and advice on how to enjoy Rome the most. Viewing the New Year's Eve fireworks from Gianicolo with an outstanding view all over the city was just one of their insights. The room was cleaned properly daily and was good value for the money. Safety was fine with lockers in our room. You have to bring your own lock or buy it at the reception as often in hostels.
very nice place with very friendly staff....good value for money....definitely i will go again...

perfect location, but old rooms and old bathroom, good for the money you pay.
The hostel is located neat the main train station which is amazing, you got the metro there and a lot of buses, so there's no way you can get lost, the rooms are really good but I was traveling with my friends so we had a room for ourselves, in case you are less persons, you will have to worry because the rooms don't have lockers, other than that the hostel is really clean and they clean it in a daily basis, also the staff was amazing with us, specially Francesco (sorry if I misspelled it lol)
A bit of a walk from the historic center, but very close to Termini, so definitely worth it. Wifi in the rooms is strong and there is also a big lending library of tour books behind the desk. Free breakfast pastries (Nutella croissants?!) always appreciated.

I enjoyed my time at Freedom Traveller. Stayed in a 6-bed dorm and all the guests were so lovely and chatty! The location is very convenient near the main train station, Termini (although don't hang around the station at night as can be a bit dodgy). Absolutely loved how we could get a free breakfast across the road, really nice touch. All in all a pretty chilled hostel. Normally only one staff member on at a time so you can wait a bit to check-in etc but all the staff were really friendly.
The showers were the only problem. They are old and when someone take shower on the same time than you, the hot water is not enough for both. But the rest is very good!
Not a bad hostel, Booked 2 beds in a 5 bed dorm, although when got there got put in private room, so not complaining about that. the room was clean but extremely bare, a few pictures could make it feel a bit better. airconditioner wasn't working properly so when went down to reception she helped me by giving me a electric heater, only problem was since old building this kept tripping the circuit breaker, but overall good stay, possibily stay agaim.
Good value for money. Close to train station and grocery store.
I am very content of the atmosphere, i spnt there very nice time, everyone was open and helpful. Thank you!!
I had to be honest freedom traveller hostel is the worst hostel that I ever stay..the guy in the reception is totally rude and arrogant.hostel is boring .if you expecting to meet new people and staying social place this hostel is the last place that you can stay.there is no under bed lockers that you can put your luggage.soo I felt non secure about it.sheets and roomes were clean but showers and toilettes not soo much.
Nice hostel close to termini station and if you don't mind walking its in a good location to all the sites. The guy a reception was helpful and pointed out things on the map for us. There is a decent all you can eat pizza/pasta place across from the hostel where you can fill up on cheap food for 5 euros. The rooms weren't anything special and our shower didn't work which was a major buzzkill. But other than that they provided cheap rooms with banging breakfast pastries every morning. Cheers
Uncomfortable beds, some of the staff was nice, some staff members were rather dismissive.
