Great location close to the train station and attractions can be accessed easily by walking. The staff were knowledgeable about what to see and do in Rome. There is a lock out until 3pm for cleaning which can be inconvenient but the place was always really clean. There was a kitchen, but it is a bit small, hard for more than a few people to be in there at one time.

Thank you for your insight and valuable tips, your feedback is always welcome here. Just one point to note, when it comes to the kitchen issue,in all fairness, our hostel is one of the very few in Rome that offers that service at all.Our kitchen is well equiped, big enough for the hostel like ours since more than a few people can cook at the time and we also offer a fairly nice common area that can acommodate many guests. All in all doesn't seem like a bad deal.

This is a nice hostel, with a nice atmosphere. However a few things disappointed me : the breakfast included is just a viennoiserie ; the water in the shower changes from hot to cold every 10 seconds, there is no shampoo and no hair dryer, and you hear the street noises.

hi! First of all i want to thank you for having stayed with us.. If i may, i would like to bring to your attention concerning the breakfast, it is speficied on the hostelworld microsite that we offer a croissant and coffee., and nothing more. in regard to the hair dryer we do have at the reception for our guests. As a hostel we do offer in every bathroom body soap but to my knowledge hostels do not offer shampoo. And last, for the street noises rome is a big city you must expect some noise

The girls at the reception at night were lovely and so helpful but the guy in the morning didn't seem interested. We had a double room with shared bathroom. Our room was nice but only two bathrooms for a floor, and one day the bathrooms were so disgusting I couldn't even face brushing my teeth in them. they do clean them every day so I think we were just unlucky. The Breakfast is pretty good too! Didn't like the lock out idea, wasn't applicable to double rooms but still felt awkward coming back.

It's a nice hostel to stay in Rome. It's located next to the main train and metro station, the staff was really helpful. It would be better if you could use the elevator whenever you want (it's only for people with luggage). The beds were comfortable, there was enough space in the room. In the other hand, there isn't an oven in the kitchen and the breakfast (which is in front of the hostel) is only coffee with a cornetto.

Very good location, poor social area, but is quite small and makes easy to get to know people. Bedrooms are small. Breakfast is in the restaurant in front of hostel, with dozens of options of restaurant.

Good hostel located near the main train station but the zone seems to be a little bit dangerous if you are thinking of going out at night. The girls from the staff were really helpful and indicated places were not many tourists go to enjoy the real rome. Kitchen was a kind of small, and when it gets crowded you have to wait for cooking. Our double bed room was fine but there weren`t many sockets. However, one night a group of people was trying to get in all the bedrooms of my floor.

Staff was very helpful, particularly the women on the afternoon/night shifts. Kitchen was great, although if you did not use the kitchen to cook there was not another common room to meet people. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe at this hostel and would definitely return if I am in Rome again!

Near the Termini train station. The staff is really helpful. didn't really interact much with guests though. And we stayed around the corner (rooms which were part of the hostel) from the main location, guess it was booked to capacity.Best price we could find for New Year's Eve.

Thanks to the friendly, funny and very helpful staff! They provided lots of valuable tips and advice on how to enjoy Rome the most. Viewing the New Year's Eve fireworks from Gianicolo with an outstanding view all over the city was just one of their insights. The room was cleaned properly daily and was good value for the money. Safety was fine with lockers in our room. You have to bring your own lock or buy it at the reception as often in hostels.

perfect location, but old rooms and old bathroom, good for the money you pay.

The hostel is located neat the main train station which is amazing, you got the metro there and a lot of buses, so there's no way you can get lost, the rooms are really good but I was traveling with my friends so we had a room for ourselves, in case you are less persons, you will have to worry because the rooms don't have lockers, other than that the hostel is really clean and they clean it in a daily basis, also the staff was amazing with us, specially Francesco (sorry if I misspelled it lol)

A bit of a walk from the historic center, but very close to Termini, so definitely worth it. Wifi in the rooms is strong and there is also a big lending library of tour books behind the desk. Free breakfast pastries (Nutella croissants?!) always appreciated.

I enjoyed my time at Freedom Traveller. Stayed in a 6-bed dorm and all the guests were so lovely and chatty! The location is very convenient near the main train station, Termini (although don't hang around the station at night as can be a bit dodgy). Absolutely loved how we could get a free breakfast across the road, really nice touch. All in all a pretty chilled hostel. Normally only one staff member on at a time so you can wait a bit to check-in etc but all the staff were really friendly.
