Thought Freemans is predominantly a Bed & Bfast, the smaller hostel portion is great. Stay here if you are an independant traveller, ad a bit sick of the "hostelling" scene. It's quiet most often, but for me, that's exactly what I like. I want to go to the party, not live in it. The management is AMAZING, the manager is always on call, and will help you with anything you need. Free internet and wifi is also a HUGE bonus, as well as a fridge located in the hosteling room. It is definitely the best hostel in Auckland! The owner is soooo great!She will help u for everything no matter you want to visit something, find a flat to stay in auckland, help u with the booking of a car...it's very clean, showers have a good pression and always warm, bed are so comfortable!! 15walk to city centre and 15min walk to Ponsonby!Internet is free which is a GREAT and rare stuff!! In one word: GO THERE!!It is definitely the best hostel in Auckland! Nice clean place. We had a private room which had plenty of space. Not too noisy either. Bed was the most comfortable i have slept in since i have been away!Toilets and kitchen are clean. great place... FREE INTERNET! staff are extremely nice and helpful. only 10-15 minute walk to the city. beds were super comfy and no bunks!! my room had a TV and fridge too.great place... Lovely, lovely place. As a traveller it is so nice to find a place offering budget accommodation that isn\'t musty, and worn but rather sparkling and airy. Our room was great and had the comfiest bed we\'d slept on for many months. The bathrooms sparkled. Seema is a fabulous host and is always on hand to answer questions, give out useful info and help out. Cannot recommend enough!Lovely, lovely place. Seema is very warm and friendly, and will make you feel right at home and get you all settled in. The beds are very nice to sleep in. Free internet in the lounge is great and there is even free internet in the deluxe dorm room.
