IMO, worth the extra money to stay right in the old town. staff are nice and helpful. Also have a wall projector to watch movies if you should get a really rainy evening. Located in a very convenient location, inside the walls of the Old City, Fresh Sheets is a hostel with friendly staff, fun filled nights (movies shown every night) and a great happy hour. Our room on the 3rd floor was a little cold and it could use a new door in the bathroom. Good value for the money however. I love this hostel!! A group of 7 of us stayed there and we all agree it is the best hostel we have stayed up. Dragging your suitcase up the hundreds of stairs to get there is a pain, but so worth it. The staff are fantastic, location is near perfect. Would definitely stay there again.I love this hostel!! The price/night goes mainly to its excellent location, inside the old town Dubrovnik. Hostel has free maps and information sheets. It would be nice if the matress is of better quality.
