Sorry to tell you, out of my stay of 10 days in Europe this is the worst hostel I have stayed in.

Nice beds, wifi and staff. Very good for the money. The only problem is that there's only one bathroom, which can be very busy some times.

The free breakfast is just an eyewash..they give a pastry and a coffee not the best breakfast that's the only negative about this place. Most of the important places are just 20 minutes away from the place... Good place for a weekend get away...

It was a nice place to stay, the staff is very polite and kind, the hostel is in a good zone near from train station and has good facilities. A good place to stay when you visit Rome.

Our stay at Friend House Hostel was fantastic. We arrived in the evening and had a difficult time finding the actual entrance but it is definitely there. We stayed in a private room with its own bathroom for a great price. The two men that ran the place were very friendly and kind. It put us at ease after a hectic day of travel. The room was very clean. The location was good. It is slightly in a "not so exciting neighborhood" but two blocks away are fun areas.we would stay here again

Run by one guy, he is very friendly and is able to recommend places to eat, and easiest ways to see the sights (train lines/stops etc)

If you want to meet people and socialize this isn't the hostel for it. Rooms get very hot, location is about 15minute walk from the colosseum in not the nicest area of Rome. Served its purpose for the 4 nights we spent there just using it as a base.
