This is one of the best hostel I had to stay. The staff is incredible, I love all of them. The Riga tour they do is amazing, and the beer tour in 5 pubs of the Old Riga is a wonderful way to meet other people from the hostel and to have an amazing night.

This is a superbe youth hostel in Riga! It is the best I\'ve ever visited! You get all what you need during your stay in Riga. Very good services with free guided tours through the town and other services. This youth hostel is a must if you stay in Riga!! And, in addition, it is very cheap too!

Rooms are terrible. Too many people in one room and too cramped. Atmosphere was great if looking to go out drinking. However hard to get a good nights sleep because of loud beats from outside

It's a good hostel but not well managed as it's huge so the staff don't master all rooms, the other point is security as I heard when I was there that someone get stolen while he was sleeping.

Very lively atmosphere, but too crowded and noisy. And the bed is too small and narrow, so hardly get to sleep

At this price this is one of the best hostel with star crew on it. I liked the cleanliness (first thing for me) and apart from the staff, atmosphere the concept of a local taking us for a city tour. I learnt a lot about city within those few hours.

Extremely good location in the Old Town (Central Bus and Train Station ca a 5 minute walk away). Be ready to carry your luggage up the narrow wooden stairs. Free beer/champagne on arrival. Spacious common rooms and kitchen. Continetal breakfast possibility included. Quite clean rooms, toilets/showers (no problems having warm shower)-I saw the cleaning lady quite often around. NB-a party hostel! Some rooms facing the Daugava(river). Safe deposit, wifi. In all-great value for the money!

Until 5 in the morning it was impossible to get some sleep because of the bar of the hostel and the noise outside the hostel.

Loved my time at Friendly Fun Franks - the location is brilliant, the staff are fantastic and the facilities are excellent. I'll definitely be staying at FFF again if I return to Riga. One of the best hostels I've stayed at.

I arrive early morning, and as they had an empty bed They allowed me to check in and take a rest feom my jorney. Tha is amazing as most places ask you to check in in the afternoon. Free breakfast, wifi, linen, towels, walking tour, etc etc, very clean, very good location, and friendly, drop-dead-gorgeous staff. What else can you ask for?

Not really anything to complain about here. The staff were great - actually bothering to remember the names of individual guests even though there were over 60 of us staying there. The location is convenient enough for everything in the city, but not in the middle of a noisy area so you can actually sleep at night. Great views of the river too. Will definitely stay here when I am back in Riga again.

Great place, nice staff, clean. There was some problem with hot water, but it's not that relevant.

Great hostel, clean and centrally located. Staff were really friendly and helpful and even offered a free beer on arrival! The facilities were very clean. The only problem I had was with the showers; they were quite cold.

Absolutely fantastic place. Riga is a beautiful city but their various additions to your stay such as free walking tours and pub crawls make it a lot more memorable. Would love to be back whenever.
