I don't understand how this hostel received lots of awards. The hostel just recommended bars and events that were owned by the same group of the hostel and I was stuck at a monopolistic movement. The beds were awful (you could feel the springs touching yourself) and the walking tour disappointed me.

This hostel was great! i stayed for a couple of nights. Location was close to the bus station and easy to find. also close to the old city. on arrival, the welcome beer was a nice treat having spent 5 hours on the bus to get there! rooms were spacious, staff were happy to answer all questions and the other people in the hostel were really friendly.

Great hostel! Friendly staff and the beer on arrival was a nice touch! It is in a good location, only a hop skip and jump from the city centre! I even got to meet the famous friendly Frank and he didn't disappoint either!:)

A really old hostel, bad beds, noisy, no lift, narrow stairs, the smoke of the smokers area goes through the rooms, If you are the kind of guys that like to arrive drunk, no respect others, talk and turn the lights at 4,5 or 6 am go there!!!! Nice value for money, some friendly people, not everybody but some. Breakfast and a welcoming beer is included!!!

Was a good hostel and had everything you needed. To be honest though, I preferred my friends hostel which was a bit smaller and therefore had character. Franks was a bit difficult to meet anyone if you are travelling alone and doesn't really have much of an atmosphere. Still a good hostel though!!

Had a wonderful time! You guys have done a great job from when you check in until the end. The tours were awesome and I loved the bobsledding opportunity. I was very impressed on how clean everything was and I enjoyed the breakfast. The staff has been the friendliest from the rest of my trip and if they don't know something they are kind to look it up. They even remembered my name because I stayed here more than two. Definitely will be recommending you guys.

The location is really great, it's only 5 min walk from the main city sights, and 5-10 min from bus and train stations. The staff was very nice and welcoming.

Steep staircase, cold rooms (in winter), broken bunk beds with missing railings (sleeping on top can get dangerous) and ladders that seriously hurt your soles when climbing, army-style showers with nozzles that are fixed to the ceiling and can't be adjusted and with no shelves for shower gel etc., sub-par toilets. Sleeping close to the staircase makes a terrible racket all night when other guests are stumbling upstairs drunk.

If sleeping is your top priority, consider some other location or prepare yourself with plugs. Returning party people might just wake you up pretty frequently just by crossing the corridor. Receptionists doorbell is so loud that you can hear it even in the very last room.
