Nice and cosy hostel with a very central location. Extremely noisy in the evenings and in the night though.

A very friendly place, staff is the best I've meet in Russia

I stayed in female dorm, the hostel was adequate, but.not special. Kitchen facilities were poor. Drinking water was supplied which was excellent. The bed was reasonably comfortable & linen clean. Bathrooms were sufficient & fine. There were permanent residents who dominated internet facilities 24/7 though this chap would move if requested.

Only the bed in the room where we were creaks to much.

Hostel is really very nice. Located in the centre of Saint Petersburg. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Highly reccomend.

A good hostel with friendly staff. One issue - the facilities are a little limited. It is a little generous to say it has a 'pool table' . The main problem, however, was that the kitchen was very limited as it does not have have an oven or a stove top. This was important to us, but may not matter to many. Otherwise, it was very pleasant.

The management let the smokers be at the top of the stairs with the window open and the smoke came into the hostel. It didn't smell good.

Great staff, very helpfull!

the hostel is quite good, but takes some mins to the metro/ Nevsky Prospect. However, it is within walking distance to many tourist attractions in st.petersburg. One of the problem is there are quite many mosquito, but overall is OK. The staff there are nice and friendly. :P

best hostel we've stayed!

Hostel is super clean, it seemed as though there were ladies whose job it was to clean all day long. Has a large common area and free washing machine which is great. Obviously they are not up to date on the new visa registration rules as from March 2011 you need only register your visa if you are staying for 7 working days in the one place and they tried to make us pay to register our visa's when we were only staying for 3 nights (2 being the weekend).

Excellent location and decent facilities with a nice communal area, but not much else to shout about here. Smoking is permitted on the stairways so guests are greeted with the stench of smoke when travelling around the hostel, and one member of staff wasn’t the best – she gave me completely incorrect directions on two occasions.

I am from Hong Kong. The hostel is very convenient and the staff are very helpful. Glad to stay here for three nights.

The hostel is very well situated, close to Nevsky prosp, and many of the major sights. It is just around the corner from a supermarket and a main night spot street. The hostel was always kept spotlessly clean. The free, yes free calls from the hostel to any land line in about 30 countries was super along with free tea, coffee and internet. It does not have a complete hostel feeling as a majority of beds are in 2/3 bedrooms with only 1 x 6 bedroom dorm.

friendly staff ,comfortable and good location

we got big twin room with two beds,sofa,Tv... it was really good between quality and prize.the keyboard from the commputers were in rusian so it was quite hard write something :)but I understand most of the people from this hostel were russian.Anyway I recommend this hostel !

Room was full of mosquitos and there was lots of noise from the nearby nightclub making sleep difficult on the Saturday night we were there. Ok if looking for somewhere to party on the weekend if you're from Moscow (most guests were Russians), but otherwise if wanting a double room it would be better to spend a few extra $ on a hotel.
