Close to Rome Termini train station, which makes it easy to travel anywhere by metro or bus. The Hostel itself is in a gated apartment/condo area. Someone came and cleaned our room during the day just like a hotel and the private double room was very large! There needs to be someone staffed more often or more accessibly--it was difficult to check in and check out when we wanted because you had to call someone to come help you (they live near the hostel, but there's not a front desk or anything).

The owner was really lovely and nice with us she made us feel like home. The hostel was always cleand and the building is brilliant :) also is really close to the termini and even though our flight was delayed one hour she waited for us :) You also have a TV in your room what can be quite relaxing after a long day of walking.

the only way we can contact the staff is making phone calls....unfortunate for us, not only that roaming is super expensive, but our phones somehow couldn't get any signals at all....which means, we couldn't contact anyone when there were problems with our stay

Aside from being difficult to find since the name of the hostel is different than it is on the web site (Lilliput and Friends rather than Friends Hostel) and some confusion about the street address, the accomodations worked perfect for our one night stay en route to Sorrento.
