Decent little hostel, super friendly staff and a great location just off the main square, thumbs up.

Great hostel, clean, excellent location, extremely helpful staff too!

Everything was more than satisfactory. The private ensuite had an incredibly tiny bathroom, even for a seasoned hostel traveler; but, this is a small consideration. Everything was clean, sufficient, and more than adequate for a stay in a great city. The staff provided great recommendations for bars, restaurants, and things to do, and was good for lots of laughs.

The location was great and the staff wonderful.

The hostel owner, Leo was so helpful! I only had a few hours to take a look at Zagreb, but he helped me with a wonderful guidebook(called "Step by step" ;)) so that I can enjoy the upper town of Zagreb in an efficient way. The location of the hostel is great, since it's right in the city center. You can meet fairly good people at the hostel. :)

The 6 person ensuite bathroom is not exactly private unless you lock the door - otherwise other hostel guests will use it (there were men in underwear walking through our room which was a little awkward first thing in the morning). Otherwise, excellent place to stay!

Good location, close to everything, 24hr bakery across the street. Lots of info about Croatia available. Nice common room with couches, computer, TV (in English), and cat! Later check out time (1130). Bed sheets not fitted and not long enough to be tucked in meant that we found ourselves laying directly on the plastic cover of the bed. Room was cold at night, but there were extra blankets. Wifi doesn't work upstairs and common room closes at night. Shower pressure bad, but another available.

Very friendly and dedicated staff! Enjoyed my stay and met some cool people :) Central, clean and comfortable.

Nice place, close to the old town. From here walk to train station about 10 minutes. Thanks to Sandra's help, waiting until my appear. Because of the delay of Croatia airline.

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our trip and had plans to stay at another hostel on our way back through Zagreb later in the week. We ended up changing our plans just so we could stay here again. Fulir has the BEST location - right in the middle of everything. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Sandra (staff) gave us advice on where to eat and drink and every place she recommended was exactly what we were looking for. The hostel has a very homey feel - highly recommend!

I could not sleep well at night. And the equipments in the kitchen were not enough and some of them were broken or damaged....

Booked for location & good reviews. Location did not disappoint, but seems to be riding on coattails of old awards. I had booked 4 nights in a 10-bed dorm- cramped, filthy mattresses, torn sheets & broken lockers. Nice staff member offered 6-bed dorm instead. Slight improvement. Bathroom down VERY creaky stairs, access to other dorm through the first dorm. 1 shower had no door. Worst hostel experience. Would NOT recommend. Stayed only 1 night

excellent location with helpful staff. worth for money. everything was great except the staff missed my email mentioning my flight delayed and would come late. there was no one in the reception.

The staff are very nice! but i think that the hostel should have more attention with the maintenance, like: the toillet´s door doesnt lock; there is almost no water at the shower; the windows are brooken e very dirty and the bed sheets given to us was torn.

I had a great time at this hostel, All of the workers were so nice. They helped me out a lot with getting around and I would highly reccommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Croatia. It is in a perfect location right in the center of everything. There is even a kitchen to cook which is nice and the wifi works great, even in the rooms unlike some places. I would gladly come back ! Despite its location near the city centre, it was a really small hostel with limited facilities. The shower was not working very well, the toilet lock was spoilt, and the lockers were not working well either. The receptionist was helpful and friendly, but did not know a lot of answers to our questions.
