It is clean enough and cozy and has all the amenities your will need. I like the service Kevin Yang provides his guests even if I didn't get to see him during my entire stay in Taiwan.

Kevin was great and we were extremely satisfied with the facilities, location and value of the room. Definitely recommended.

Location is near to Shilin market and MRT station. The price is fair and good for budget trip.

lived in 4 ppl family ensuite, the flat is clean and just 5 min to MRT. It's just a resedential flat and the check-in and check out is done by the security guard. So it's just simply renting a flat

Love the overall overall interior design of the room- chic, modern, simple and yet very cozy. We stayed in this deluxe double room with a small living area. The mattress is a bit hard and the sound proof of the room is pretty poor; we could easily hear the noises from upstairs, e.g. showering, walking etc. Fortunately, the noise wasn't too intense that kept us awake all night long, we were pretty much exhausted throughout the trip and hence we fell asleep nonetheless.

Well, for hostel in non-English Speaking Countries, I'd expect more about info service, which this hostel lacks; i.e. There's no real reception, just a bunch of guards who do things according to the hostel owner. Also, the decoration is not according to the photo seen on this website. I won't recommend this hostel to anyone

If you are booking a private room, don't expect to make any friends (as stated rooms in a building). It would be nice if the owner could come over to help us check in and clear the payment stuff (not handling it over to a security guard). Room near the main street was a little noisy. The next one we moved in was better with a washing machine :)

Good place to stay if you are planning to wipe out Shilin Night Market every night! ;)

The room smells because the moisture from the bathroom trapped in the room.

The room that we booked is not in the main building and I think it is a studio in a apartment. I was hoping that my room (4 person) would be similar the one that was advertised, much to my disappointment. However, I wouldn't complain too much given the price that I am paying. It is a little far from the City Centre but it is really 3 min from the MRT, and that is very important! It is in a quiet neighborhood with Cosmed, 7-evelen, eating outlets and a fruit shop within walking distance.

Location is superb, would be better if there are cleaning services that comes at least once every 2 days to clean the room. WIFI is provided but they have it without a password so probably got the whole town using it so connection is a bit unreliable.

we enjoyed the lovely scenic & mountainous view thoroughly from our room window. When we realizedthe hair dryer wasn't working & reported it to Kevin, the person i/c, he responded efficiently & replaced it immediately. Really thumbs up for the location, which was just opposite the famous Shilin market :) The MRT was within walking distance as well. Thank you Kevin. We'd love to stay there again! :)

the location was nice. eventhough its little bit hard to recognize it. especially kevin was very helpful and kind. :) he was the best guesthouse manager ive ever met! and the view from shared room is very nice since it was hard to find cozy and quite coffee shop around shilin nightmarket area i enjoyed staying here with delicious bubble tea when there is no one staying in the guesthouse. :-) and the bed was super comfortable!!!! will definitely stay there again:)

Great location. The security guard was really friendly and helpful. The room is clean and has enough space to accommodate all 4 of us with our luggages. However, 2 of the 4 pillows are too soft to have good quality sleep; the door knob of the bathroom leaks oil and stains our hands. Wifi was good but was not available on the last 2 days of our stay.

very nice place to stay, and Kevin was always ready to help! very conveniant and easy to find. but it's a little bit small and there is no space for all our luggages... if I go back in Taipei I'll go there!!!

For the price its a really gd deal. Room is very spacious.

hot water is not hot enough in winter! No furnace or electric radiator
