This is a very interesting place as the hostel helps support a charity foundation. It is right on the beach and the staff was so friendly and helpful. This is not really a place to party, but an amazing place to stay if you really want to explore the area and have some time to yourself. You can walk to the beach in less than five minutes which is amazing. There is a great terrace overlooking the ocean.
Very cool place - right near the beach and with a great terrace to sunbathe on and watch the surfers :) staff was amazing- very helpful with everything and gave us extra information about Sintra and Lisbon!! Also they put us in a nice 4-bed dorm instead of 12, and it was super clean and comfy. Great place definitely recommend!
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!! The hotstel is one hour walk to Cascais, but from outside the hostel to Cascais ALL ALONG is the great view of beach~ It is really enjoy walking along the way and enjoy the sunshine, the ocean and the warmth. The personal there are quite nice. Actually it is not a REAL hostel, instead it belongs to a charity society and this hostel is in a charity school. You will eat in the canteen with the children but live apart from them. Personals are sooooo nice and helpful!!

Ricardo and his 2 associates made this a wonderful experience. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable and well-oriented to the town. Rooms were cozy, clean and bright. Free towels! The prepared breakfasts were wonderful and the chef / kitchen staff are very kind to people with special diets / requests. It's a hotel experience more than a hostel experience - some rooms have TVs! But there's no access to the kitchen to cook your own food nor personal lockers.
