Great hostel, a little far from downtown, but you can get there pretty quickly by tram. The staff is awesome, I forgot my passport there and they sent it by bus to the city I was in, no charge! My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights, and spent lots of time in the hostel, as it was so cold outside! The staff were lovely, really friendly, and helpful. The only thing was, we were on the top floor, and there was no lift, which was a bit tough on my arms. A great place to stay, a lovely staff but a little far away from the city centre (around 20min by tram)... I would stay again in the hostel definitely... If only all hostels were like this! We were only here for a night, but would have been happy to stay for longer. The staff were helpful, rooms and bathrooms nice. Great kitchen and lounge area with wifi. The only downfall is that smoking is allowed on the ground floor and for a non smoker we were glad to be staying on the second floor.If only all hostels were like this! Funk Hostel is very clean, modern and well maintained. However, we happened to be next to a rowdy group of Germans who partied until 6am and the walls are so thin that we didn't sleep. As long as you have relatively quiet neighbors, this is a great hostel! Close to the train and bus station. A short tram ride away from the old city center.
