A really cool atmosphere, the staff couldnt do enough to help and were really friendly, open-minded people. Highly recommended!

funk was a nice cheap place to stay, while they offered a free breakfast, there was not really much to eat. Not a bad walk from the city center, or riding trams make everything accessible. make sure you get the right bedding... they gave me two fitted sheets instead of a duvet cover.

I strongly recommend Funk hostel if you are planning to stay in Zagreb! Very friendly and helpful staff. :)

A very cool and quite hostel, expecially on the second floor, the staff was kind and happy!

I only stayed here 1 night (unfortunately!) but I loved this hostel. The staff were simply delightful- they really seemed interested in each guest, and were very personable, warm, and helpful with any special needs. I really felt at home here, and will definitely stay at Funk Hostel again if I come back to Zagreb! The facilities were all great, breakfast was nice, beds were comfortable, and the shelves by the beds were a nice touch. Super hostel!!!

The staff at Funk Hostel was awesome! Maja was a great hostess and we immediately felt comfortable and welcome around her. We had so much fun with her! We love Funk Hostel!!!

Great hostel, staff were extremely friendly and helpful when called on. Breakfast was a standard cereal, toast and fruit deal, but really, what more do you need to fill you up. The only thing that could have really been better would be the location, it's like a twenty minute walk to all the great things to see, but apart from that everything is perfect.

Getting to the hostel from the airport isn't the easiest, but the staff are very welcoming and fun (free shots of rakija when you get there!). The rooms are pretty nice, just depends on who you are staying with. There were several stag parties/large groups of loud guys while I was there, and falling asleep wasn't all that easy, but if you're looking to meet some really interesting people and can live with the noise, I would recommend this place. The hostel isn't that close to Old Town, though.

Great dorms, staff were lots of help and everyone looked after us very well. Big thanks to Mia, Anja, Jerko and Kristjian for all the directions and our welcome shot of rakjia. We meant to stay for two nights but ended up staying for a week. Enjoy!

Good: Nice kitchen with enough utensils to prepare a complete meal. Breakfast with fruits, bread, juice and tea,it was ok. Nice large lockers. The location is not exactly very central, you have to take the tram, or walk at least 20 minutes to get anywhere interesting. Overall, I am satisfied with this hostel, the staff was its best feature: informative and knowledgeable about the city, and even about other cities where I would stop next, welcomed me with a complimentary drink.

This is THE BEST HOSTEL I've ever been in Europe! Thanks to all Funky staff for your friendliness, all the traveling tips, and endless amounts of free rakia shots! I'll definitely come back! You made my trip so crazy... you are all invited to France!... especially female part of the crew! ;) Zivjeli!

Great Staff and good environment. wasn't much of a breakfast, but it was nice to have a little something in the morning.

Great little hostel with possibly the friendliest staff I've had on my travels yet! Definitely on my list of places to revisit.

Funk Hostel is a great place to stay in Croatia. The staff is awesome and helpful and it was fun hanging out with them. There is nothing bad to say about the hostel and you get a decent hostel for a good price.

This hostel was great! The staff were so friendly. There was a poker night the day I arrived and then every night after they let us use the poker set, and even joined in which was great fun! The breakfast was nice too. And they could give us lots of info about Zagreb which was useful. I would recommend this hostel!

Dear Funk Hostel staff! It has been a while, since we visited Zagreb and stayed at you hostel. But we did not forget your kindness and the fun we had during our stay! By all means, thank you so much for having us! We had an excellent room with comfortable beds, facilities were always clean, the breakfast you provided was awesome, although covering just the basics, but it was for FREE, so that we could simply amend it with whatever we liked! Next time in Zagreb we'll stay at Funk Hostel for sure
