The staff is really nice. Our 4-bed dorm was good and clean. The hostel has a restaurant where you get a free rakija and drink your pivo outside on a small terrace. There is enough space in common areas where you can read about your next trip or meet new people.
Pretty average hostel. Really easy to get everywhere by tram, but there was not that much in the area itself if looking for dinner outside the hostel. Some of the staff were really helpful. Lockers in the rooms were great, sheets and towels were great, as was the wifi. The bathroom in our room wasn't the cleanest, and neither was the kitchen.
The staff here are incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. On arrival I was given a map and talked through the self-guided walking tours marked on the map. I did them and had a great day, definitely a good way to see Zagreb. The common room area was quite small so I found it difficult to meet people as everyone must have been chilling in their rooms. The restaurant was pretty good too.
Funk lounge was the perfect place to stay, the staff were amazing and made you feel at home. The hostel is the cleanest i have ever come across i would recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Zagreb!!!!
Was a good hostel, I'd stay there again, nice people, enough space, very nice staff too!!!

Hotel was easy to find, got a tram from the main station then a short walk. The hostel had it's own bar next door where you could get food and drinks. We were given a free shot when we got there! Lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel and a supermarket just across the road. we had a private room with an en suite which nice and clean nothing to complain about. However was noisy as there was a gathering area with a kitchen and TV right outside our room.
Perfect atmophere and Staff, one little minus is toll parking
this place is mecca

Great room, but kind of a weird smell. Also, our bathroom sink was horribly clogged, so nothing would drain, but once we told the staff about it, they fixed it right away. Easy, cheap restaurant right next door was nice.
Funk Lounge is a great place to stay in Zagreb. It's clean and central with a awesome atmosphere. The thing that makes it the best is it's staff. They are all super friendly and helpful. Mia and her sister Anya are both super cute and totally amazing!
We didn't think the location was that bad until we stayed in another Zagreb hostel and realised how far out it is and dodgy the area feels. In saying this the hostel itself isn't bad though, comfy beds and spacious rooms. Restaurant downstairs is really cheap and the girls on reception are all so nice!! There is an Aussie guy who wanders around trying to convince everyone to go on the in crawl though which gets a bit tiring after you have told him no 3 times.
It was a great hostel, very nice staff and many facilities. i liked the fully equiped kitchen:) and the bar and restaurant next door are also great
One of the best ones i have visited. It was really clean, staff was really helpful and the location was ok. Go there when you are at zagreb! I didnt even mind the lack of breakfast as the bakeries were so good and cheap :) i highly recommend this hostel!
A good hostel for a fair price. This hostel is as average as it gets. Pros: One tram access to center or to the bus station, fair price, room dedicated bathroom, fair price, friendly staff. Cons: Internet only works in the shared couch area! A bit chaotic and cramped in shared area.
The hostel is out of the tourist map - still easy to find. Wifi not working in room. Dirty kitchen at night. Super noisy hair dryer Bunk bed makes squeaky noise. But super helpful and friendly staff.
Great, friendly and helpful staff; they will be always there for any issue. Besides, they own a little bar on the next door where you can order awesome local food while enjoying a fresh glass of beer.
The staff at the hostel and restaurant were awesome! This was our first stop in Croatia and we immediately felt at ease and knew we would have a super fun time in this country. We only stayed the one night but I would definitely recommend it just for the vibe.
The hostel has such an awesome staff! It is a nice place to stay if you dont mind being a bit out of the center. It is clean, and you Can borrow towels for free. There is a very nice pubcrawl every night and dora who was the 'Leader' of the one i went to was awesome! They have a restaurant/bar with fairly cheap prizes for nice croatian food. I stayed there two summers in a row and i would definetely stay there again.
We only spent one night in the hostel but we wish we could have spend more time there ! Indeed, the staff was really nice and fun as the general atmosphere. Moreover, the building and the rooms are very well ammenaged! To say it short this is a really cool place to stay in Zagreb!
