I had a lovelly stay at the Funk Lounge Zagreb. The staff couldnt be more friendly, welcoming and efficient. strongly recommend :D

Staff were all very friendly and eager to assist with directions and with suggestions for sight seeing and eating and nightlife. They made the hostel feel much more comfortable than an average travel hostel in Europe and went out of their way to ensure their guests enjoyed themselves and were accommodated for.

This is truly a funk place. The beds are comfy, rooms clean and the whole place is super modern. They have the friendliest of staff who are happy to help with any questions and have good suggestions on places to visit or bars or clubs to go to. Plus you get a free shot of rakija at both the bar that's right next to the hostel and in a pub in the city centre that's managed by the same people. All-in-all a great place to stay at.

I was so happy with my stay at the Funk Lounge. The staff are super helpful, the bathrooms and rooms are very clean, and the food is delicious. The staff even let me keep my luggage at the hostel while I traveled to other parts of Croatia. The backpacker's deal is an excellent choice for those who want a bed and a meal for little money, and if you are traveling alone, you are sure to make friends!

The staff here are an utter delight

Funk lounge was fantastic...great facilities and they had the best staff I've ever encountered in any form of accommodation. Their recommendations were fantastic and everyone was so kind and inviting. They made for a really great time and experience. When we had an unfortunate issue with a hostel-mates hygiene, it was handled immediately despite the awkwardness our hosts had to deal with, I would never stay anywhere else I Zagreb...recommend 100%

FunkLounge is simply flawless.

Great! The staff instantly welcomes you as family. It's a really fun group. Very clean, one of the more comfortable beds I've been in. Staff always has lots of suggestion for things to do in Zagreb.

great place! staff were helpful and the 6-person mixed dorm was spotlessly clean. cookie the dog was adorable.
