The water in the shower was cold and there was no heater in the room. TV also did not work. Just one plate of the cooker was working and you could only sit outside to eat your meal.

The pillows were so flat they could not even be considered pillows, there was no clean cover for the comforter so you could see all the stains on it, and we had no hot water for our showers in the morning. We had to go down 4 times to ask the staff to fix the problem, but because they were so understaffed , it took over an hour, and we left without showering.

It served it's purpose, close to la Mezquita and to the bus stop. No lockers and the shower leaked water all over the floor and out into the room. THe bathroom door wouldn´t lock either.

Only one gas burner in the kitchen worked, there was no where to sit when eating food that you had prepared yourself, the heater in the room didn't work, the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. I was disappointed.

Very nice hostel, I enjoyed my stay there, Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. The breakfast for 2 euros is very good. It is clean and have all the facilities, free access to internet, kitchen, bar. And for the price is really good! I definitely recommend it.

Great in all respects. Except would have been even better if kitchen had tea towels and matches to light the stove.

I only stayed for one night, so it was fine. Our shower door was broken, which was a bit inconvenient, but other than that everything was okay. It seemed like a bit of a ghost town even though there were several people staying there. If I go back to Córdoba I will probably stay somewhere different.

The hostel is located close to Cordoba’s main attractions like the impressive Mezquita. Breakfast was not included but is offered in the downstair’s canteen for a reasonable price. My twin-bed room was comfortable, noiseless and clean. Good place for meeting people but is not a ‘party’ hostel, was quite empty during my stay in the first week of January. Could be better well kept, one of the 2 free computers didn´t work well.

Some of the staff, was really excellent and extremely helpful. However, one person in particular, could make an effort to be more communicative. I found the bathroom a lot to be desired, water overflowing in the bedroom, after one or two showers. a bit messy. One tiny room, for 4 people, with shower and WC together, not the best option

Owner Comment (Show)
Hi Daniele, thank you for your review. If you have toilet and shower in the same room for some guests is a big advantage but other it can be an inconvenient. We thougt it was the best option.

Small kitchen, no table/chair to sit and eat. I guess the kitchen is in a low state so that people will not cook and instead go to the small restaurant, managed by the hostel.

Funky Cordoba is a nice hostel on the edge of the Jewish quarter of Cordoba. It is really close from the Mezquita and from the Alcazar with its beautiful gardens. The beds were really comfortable and the private bathroom convenient, even if a little small, and we were unlucky to find cold water only one morning. The kitchen was a little small and was missing some utensils but we were still able to cook some good food.
