We had a great time in Fes. The walking tour from the hostel was really great - I'd highly recommend it!

The hostel is good. Nothing very impressive but there were tons of cool people there which was awesome but since it was surround by local houses you couldn't go on the terrace after 11:30pm which was unfortunate because there was really nothing to do after 11pm. If you are low on money and want a chill place to stay go the funky fes but Don't expect too much.
This hostel is good, very nice. Not hard to find with given directions, even though its right in the medina. Close to good atractions in the city. 24 hrs staff, nice and friendly, willing to help. Shared rooms were nice and bathroom good and clean. Common areas are ok. Wifi works good in all the building. Included breakfast basic but good, some breads, coffe and milk. Stay here is basic but recommended, they have tour options for desert and other locations. Good value for money.
The location is good, the staff were nice, and quite helpful when the place I wanted to go to was booked out. It was nice enough.
Large communal area where travellers can enjoy breakfast and dinner together creating a nice atmosphere. It was very cold though and so this didn't make it that comfortable. Good location not far from centre of medina but far enough as the heart of it, is like a maze! Lots of information available and helpful staff. Brilliant that evening meals were available because it didn't feel save for woman to be walking the small medina streets at night! Bring a biggish padlock for locker!
It's a beautiful hostel but pretty hard to find like any places in Fes. My only concern would be about the fact that you have to pay for pretty much everything (coffee, tea, printing boarding pass, shisha, etc). Breakfast is included and is acceptable. There's a nice terrace to smoke and chat with people and a nice common room.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the place had everything you could want in a hostel.
Very good experience, especially after staying at different hostels in Morocco. Staff is the highlight of this hostel, friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back when in Fes.
It´s a nice place, where you can buy good dinner for a excellent price. Staff is usefull and internet works very well.
delicious apple cake and breakfest but quite far away from the medina and the blue gate. Love the kid who lives in the hostel.
Very nice people working the front desk who speak English well and very close to the Medina and other cool tourist spots. Rooms were typical hostel quality but perfectly acceptable. There was a good common area and a lot of fun and interesting travelers.

Nice hostel with good young atmosphere :-) take the trip to Ifrane and the Middle Atlas.
Excellent hostel! Staff was young, friendly, responsive, multilingual and welcoming, bedrooms were spacious enough, food was excellent, décor is gorgeous, many activities and excursions offered. I highly recommend this hostel!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the bathrooms in some of the rooms (the rooms with more than 8 people) were very dirty and had little to no hot water. Very strict, unnecessary rules.
Very nice Riad, with a good location at the entry of the Médina. The hostel is clean and the food is also good. I recommand
We had one 5-bedroom in the main hall, where it was very noisy from early in the morning until late at nigh, which made it hard to get some good sleep. The room was clean, as well as the bathroom an toilet. The interior looked very nice and the staff was helpful. Included breakfast was ok, the meals there were very good, especially the kefta. The only annoying thing were the people in front of the taxi-station, who tried to guide you to the hostel for money, even if you already knew your way.
Really friendly comfortable hostel with a great brekkie!
Funky Fes is a great place to stay in the Medina. They arranged an airport pick up for me, which saved me stressing on my first ever visit to Morocco, so the taxi driver knew where the hostel is. It has a great roof terrace. You can have meals cooked for you or cook your own in the guest kitchen. Everyone is friendly, guests and staff, which is nice when you are a solo traveller. Make sure you know what you want to see on Mecknes day tour.
The room we stayed in & common area were way too cold, making it uncomfortable and therefore the atmosphere was not the best it could be. Staff was kind and helpful. A mat for wet feet in the bathroom would be great (we had one the first night then it disappeared). Also, we were asked to bring down our bed sheets upon check-out which was weird since we're guests and I've never been asked that at any other hostel. According to what I've heard, your desert trip is overpriced.
