Funky Granada is located just five minutes' walk from Calle de la Alcaicería, Gran Vía and the base of the Albayzín as well as buses going up to the Alhambra. This hostel has a very chilled-out communal atmosphere, with a guest guitar and rooftop terrace as well as a good variety of activities like wine tasting, pub crawls, tours and paella dinners. Many Hostelworld guests have told us they'd stay here again because it represents great value for money.

Funky is the only hostel located in the real centre of Granada with parking.
All our rooms are all ensuite and sleep two, four or six people.
Our facilities include a kitchen and laundry service. We have heating in winter and air conditioning in summer.
We host a lot of activities – the paella workshop, a flamenco show, trips to the Arab baths, free walking tours and tapas tours, nature tours, ski tours, visits to the hot springs and more.
We’re so well-located that you can ski and go to the beach on the same day! We organize a number of excursions.
Families and groups are welcome. Stay with us. You will feel at home!

We offer a lot of extras to our guests, particularly in our services. For instance, we can help Erasmus students find a flat, or take you to the doctor if you're sick. We have maps and free tourist information and we can help book tickets for no extra charge. Plus, we organise activities like tapas tours, free walking tours, paella-cooking classes and flamenco shows which are cheaper than those put on by other hostels and hotels in Granada.

I think our hostel is ideal for both young people and those with a young soul. We've got a nice terrace, ideal for sun bathing in both summer and winter, plus a lovely patio.
Most of the main monuments are within 500 metres of the hostel: the Cathedral and the Capilla Real (a beautiful jewel of Gothic art), Plaza Bibarrambla (a very popular and lively square) , Monasterio de los Jerónimos, Plaza Nueva, Albayzin (the Arabic quarter), and Realejo (the Jewish quarter). Of course, I recommend you visit the Alhambra, which is also within walking distance.
