A little cold in the winter, but apart from that, a really great hostel. Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating :)

Recommended! Thought there wasn't going to be anyone at the hostel since it's the slow season but met people from around the world! Rooms were spacious, had a private bathroom. Pool and foosball table downstairs with the bar. The bartender made great homemade paella, really good! He also turned out to be an awesome guitarist/singer who played flamenco while we ate! Only thing I didn't like was there was no hot water installed in the sink downstairs, not fun washing dishes with freezing hands!

A really really nice place! Chillout atmosphere and very kind people! And on top of that the location is perfect! Close to the cathedral, shopping streets and a nice square to relax!

The facilities were good and the female staff person (I never got her name unfortunately) who spoke English was very helpful in answering all my questions.

Overall the hostel is quite nice. Friendly staff, excellent location. Just a little cold at winter nights, no heater in the room.

The top bunch I slept on the first night was a bit old and dangerous. I've already informed the reception about that. Very good to have a safe and a fridge in the room. The kitchen wasn't very good provided and the pots were quite deteriorated. The breakfast was self-service and sometimes was difficut to find the things or to manage.

The service was great! We had to switch rooms during our stay, but that was okay. We enjoyed the dinner that the hostel organized at new years eve. All in all I would definately recommend this hostel.

I stayed in this hostel 4 years ago as a solo traveller and returned (to the new location) as a couple. The atmosphere was as good as I remembered and we had a lovely new years eve meeting new people. Unfortunately, we slept on the most uncomfortable double bed ever... and I'm not that fussy. It was lumpy and falling off the old futon base, it was small and terribly uncomfortable. This is a great place for solo travellers if you speak Spanish or if you're travelling with a group of friends.

If you go in the winter, beware, this place is FREEZING. The rooms are directly open to the outside air and windows are flimsy. The heater in our room did not seem to work and we could not sleep all night because it was so cold in the room. Aside from that, decent hostel in terms of facilities and location.

We didn't have such a great time here. We had booked a 4-bed room for two nights. When we arrived, we found out that someone had make a mistake and booked us for different rooms each night, so we had to move all our stuff from one to the other needlessly. Even worse, the rooms have 5 (five) beds, not 4 as they claim on the website, so something MUST be done regarding pricing and advertising. And last, on the second room we got there was no hot water for showering (during winter time.....)

This is the worst hostel I've stayed during my 30-days trip. The kitchen was the dirtiest one I've ever seen. This is why I left Granada so early. And some staff's english is not good and some of them are not friendly. I went almost 8 hostels during my trip but Funcky Granada was the worst one!

It was a "Funky" hostel after all. When I visited, the shared hostel kitchen did not have hot water so it was hard to wash dishes. Shower head was not attached to the wall (a broken holder)... it was hard to take a shower with one hand occupied with a shower head. Some of the front desk worker was not helpful. After all, everything is pretty average, and I am not so impressed.
