Staff - awesome, 7 stars! Helpful at any-any moment and with any questions! Great impression!

Don't look anywhere else for a hostel in Granada, this place is the real deal. The staff was super friendly and helpful, from checking in pretty late, to marking down the best tapas bars in the area. Not only that, but they've got a gigantic bar/common room downstairs with pool, foosball, computers and a kitchen. The bartender, Didac, is a great guy, and if you like football (American or European), chat him up about the San Francisco 49ers, or FC Barcelona. I'm really glad I stumbled into here.

All in all the hostel was fine. Although the water temperature in the shower shifts unexpectedly from cold to boiling hot and you have to be very careful not to burn oneself.

We stayed in a 4 bed private and it was perfect. Private bathroom. It would have been nice if there was a common room to hang out in, and breakfast wasn't too great, but nice location. A little hard to find because the sign doesn't stand out too much!

Hi Mary. Thanks for the review. It is surprising that we didn't show you our THREE spacious common areas: one, with original decorations, on the lowest floor, one on the ground floor and the third one with a terrace!

The price is good, the location is great and the place is regularly cleaned. Nice, helpful staff with creative suggestions for where to go and what to see. Stayed there three different times over two weeks.

The cutest and most charming hostel I have stayed at yet, and that is counting 10 hostels. The staff was so friendly and really gave us so many ideas for what to do to explore the city. They were so great. The free breakfast was a great way to have a snack before leaving early for a tour. The location was great. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. I would definitely recommend staying there!

Hello Ammar. We are very happy that you liked your stay in Funky Granada. Thank you. It would be great to meet you again here or in other Funky Hostels in Cordoba, Malaga or in Fez, Morocco.

I'm sure this hostel would have been GREAT to stay in during summer or when it was warm, but it was literally awful during the cold. The heat didn't work in our room, the beds only had one blanket, and our room was so cold the first night I couldn't even sleep. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, so we had to go downstairs to the open air lobby to use it and almost froze. I wouldn't stay here again in winter.

Very friendly staff. Great location. However, the room could be a bit cleaner. We found hair in our beds. One of the safes in the room had a moldy plate in it. Please clean it!!

Stayed one night during the weekdays. The personell were very friendly! I got a nice room for three on the ground floor, though I paid for just a single room, and even free towels! As my window went out to the street, it was kind of noisy at night, though nothing atrocious. Had bad luck with the free guided tours advertised in the lobby, as I was the only participant on that day. Free breakfast was great though, nothing better than strawberry jam toast and coffee to start a day :) thanks !!!

I was in Granada with two friends for an overnight, basic-tourist trip, and this hostel perfectly fit our needs. We had a big, clean room, the staff was helpful, and we felt safe walking to the hostel together at night. We were here in February, and yes, the hostel is cold since the main areas are completely open, but the cold didn´t take away from our experience.
