The people that work there are extremely helpful and have loads of advice on what to do and where to go. The hostel was clean and is very unique an "funky" I would recommend staying there.

This might be my favorite I have stayed at so far. It is very beautiful and clean, the breakfast is great, and they have free ground coffee beans to make coffee instead of instant coffee! Also, the staff were really helpful. They do the laundry for you so you can spend that time exploring the city, and they also recommended great free tours of the caves and the older historic neighborhoods.

I gotta say at the time I was there the hostel was quite empty and the few people in there not so friendly but I think i doesn't stop the hostel from having really good falicities, location and helpful/friendly staff. Good times and definitely recommended.

It would be nice to have hand soap in the bathrooms. Also, there was no toilet paper in one of the bathrooms the entire 24 hours I was in the hostel. It's 2014-people use toilet paper and soap now.

If You're coming by city-bus from the station and trying to find your way to the hostel by using the way description of hostel world, You may have one problem: You can't read the names of the bus-stops from inside the bus, and often there is no sign inside the bus as well. So, count the bus-stops: leave the bus at the 9th stop and follow the description from there on! (@hostelworld: please add this to your description. This is not not just a problem in Granada, but in Spain in general.)

Facilities improovement must. At least in bathroom.no soap and towel

This is a good average place to stay. Staff is great and well managed.

One night I was woken at 12.30am, then 2am then 5.40am by residents talking very loudly and overnight staff had not dealt with the situation when they specifically request residents to keep the noise down after 11pm by not having showers. I rather hear the shower going than the noise people made during the night. I hardly slept at all .When I checked into my room the tiled floor was dirty. There were not enough toilets to cater for full occupancy of the hostel.

It was good to stay and staff is really good and kind. They let us know about the trip near Granada. Location is good to shopping but bed facility looks little bit dirty. Except it, i am satisfied with Funky hostel.

I was a bit disappointed to find out this was more a family pension than a backpackers hostel and thus harder to meet new people as a solo traveller... Otherwise everything was perfect : the staff was friendly and eager to help, the rooms were clean and comfy and the location very central.

Really enjoyed my stay here, was a group of 24 Spanish at the time so couldn't fairly judge on the atmosphere. The staff were really lovely and friendly, had a great chat with one of te receptionists. Was quite loud at night though.

The mattresses were full of lumps and unbearable to sleep in. The blankets smelled of toe jam (due to unwashed sticking feet of previous guests). There were no towels in the bedroom and the shower facilities, where the shower doors don't close, is unacceptable. Through the whole night other guests talked in the garden, for everyone else to "enjoy". The net curtain in the room was not hooked up. We had such a disastrous night, to spend another night. We did not get a refund for the 2nd night.

The hostel was good, we extended our stay by a night and they sorted it all out for us really quickly. The French guy on the reception was lovely and really helpful with recommendations for things to do and places to go. Only issue was that we didn't really meet anyone in the hostel, although it seemed to be an older crowd staying at the time, and we were probably just unlucky. Good value for money.
