By far the best hostel experience of them all. Our room got over booked so they gave us hotel rooms for 3 nights at no extra charge. The staff were super nice and went out of there way to help us. I would definitely recommend staying here if your going to Interlaken. Make sure to try their food, they make great breakfast. By far the best hostel experience of them all. Stayed in the hotel part of the hostel, when the heat didn't work in room we were put in, staff was quick to switch us into a warm cozy room, no problems. Little far to walk to from train with packs etc, but there is a BUS! take if lazy/weighed down with bags.Stayed in the hotel part of the hostel, when the heat didn't work in room we were put in, staff was quick to switch us into a warm cozy room, no problems. The hostel is about 20-30 minutes walking from Interlaken West Railway Station and not that easy to find. The room we stayed was really old with no decoration and bathroom is not very clean. There was even spider web on the ceiling. You can see it when you lie on the bed.
There's a lift. But for funny farm part, the door in the middle is closed in the morming so that you can't use the lift and have to carry all luggage by yourself. Staff are kind. At Funny Farm, you can see the mountain right in front from the balcony. The hostel\'s location is good if you travel there by a bus (no 4 or 5-one from ost and one from west). Get off at Hotel Sonne stop and you just walk only a few mintues. Be careful, as the bus finishes around 7pm from interlaken ost but more later buses from the west station. If you walk with the luggage, I think it takes over 20 mins (It\'s over one km walk). Hostel should include how to get there by bus.
