Overall really good, but kind of expensive.

Room was a little unclean. Stained sheets, mouldy shower curtain and found an earwig in the bed. Will not be coming back

It's tooooo far from the main center and if you take the train to get there you have to climb with your luggage

This hostel was AWESOME! The wifi worked in the rooms. I usually don't leave super positive reviews but this is a place I want to get married, honeymoon, and raise my children. I want to feed them the best burgers from Nick at the bar and let them swim in the crystal clear water of the pool surrounded by the Swiss alps. Balmers doesn't have a pool FYI. AlpinRaft next door became like family and invited us sailing with them for free after we booked adventures with Bazz, Corren, and Sasha. Hell ya

This place was great. A little more outdated than I had pictured it, but the staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, amenities were great, and location was perfect for everything you want to do there. I would definitely recommend to others and would stay there again if I went back. Be sure to book well in advance, especially on weekends!

In a lovely location and everyrhing is great. Could do with bigger lockers though for rucksacks

No kitchen or lockers in dorms, aside from that its a great hostel with awesome staff!

Roomy dorm with lots of windows, private shower and bathroom for our room to share. It was clean and the staff was great. Maybe just cause it was not high season but not much going on at the hostel. Location was fine for us.

Nice room, not the best shower. Free bus card, which with the 104 bus took you directly to the station. Lovely swimming pool, surrounded by amazing views of the mountains. Helpful staff, but rooms didnt have lockers but did have key card access which was nice.

Awesome place! We went on a very busy weekend and had no where to stay. Everywhere was booked up and even though they were full they found us a spot! Great and helpful staff. Fun place to stay!

Nice location but a bit out of the centre from Interlaken. A free bus pass is provided though which was well appreciated! Plus the mountain back drop is stunning! Good atmosphere in the bar, we never made it down for breakfast so can't comment on that one. Beds are very average and could be more comfortable. Also duvets are really thin so not good for a cold night.

Pretty good hostel but didn't have a great social atmosphere. Might have been a bit better on the weekends though!

Some of the stuff were kind of unpolite. It's like they don't care about keeping their jobs. They weren't helpfull and they answered me in a bad way some times.

Thanks to receptionist Steffi for her excellent support & guidance. She was really helpful & sweet. Providing the map direction to walk from both Interlaken OST & West stations in th web shall help as the address too .is not clear for a person who visits the place for the first time.

The street names are kind of hard to find, especially if you're arriving late at night. If you don't want to get lost or pay money for a taxi, I would recommend arriving during the day! Hostel was spacious but turns into a club on Friday night which is a bit loud.

Evon and Sasha were excellent. Booking excursions was easy. Room was clean and the house keeping was amazing. Quiet and very cost efficient.
