Staff replaced missing towels, but had no soap in room, not even for sale. No happy hour as advertised on Internet. Very good breakfast, good price. Room had fantastic views. Room and elevators a bit shabby. Liked the lobby - it had nice furniture and free WiFi.

I loved the location. My room had a balcony that had a wonderful view of mountains. The room was clean, and fairly spacious. It's not on the main strip of Interlaken, but it's not a far walk. Be sure you have good directions to initially find the place if you plan to walk there. I definately recommend staying at the Funny Farm.

We were disappointed with our stay at funny farm. We were put in a dirty room, then switched to a "clean" room that hadn't improved much from the previous one. The night staff was not very helpful. The bathroom was disgusting, there were holes in the sheets, old comforters and pillows, saggy mattresses etc. However they were nice enough to give us a refund for our next two nights stay.

Staff were awesome, rooms and cleaning were pretty ave but who goes to Interlaken to spend time in their room anyway?! Bar downstairs is wicked, would recommend Funny Farm for sure.

Really nice hostel/hotel! The man at the front desk was awesome! The only downfall was the lack of a kitchen to cook food and they wouldn't let us borrow anything to cook our frozen pizza :( really liked the funny farm apart from that!

A very nice place with great atmosphere. Helpful staff, lot of space and very good price (for Swiss conditions). Things to improve: no lockers, wi-fi only in lobby.

The reception staff were helpful but lacked enthusiasm and didn't seem very happy. Bed and pillows were horrible. Breakfast is not included and cost seems a bit too much. The bathroom was tolerable. Gardens and yard were great but the pool was empty. The big dog was cool!

Pretty cool hostel, great view from the outside, had a huge dog and a huge common room where the bar was open all day long, loved the fact that they provided a bus pass, really unexpected.

The view from our balcony was spectacular of the Jungfrau. Hostel was nice but only had wifi in the lobby not in each room. Easy walk to all aspects of the town. Staff were very informative of the community and very friendly. I would recommend checking out this place if you visiting Interlaken.

Good accommodation but could have been great if the breakfast was included in the room rent. 10 Francs per person is too much. Also, would appreciate if the route to the hostel from the train station can be improved by providing the bus details as well.

This hostel was great. The hotel has a fabulous view of the Alpine Mountains. The staff was friendly, and that sweet st. Bernard just made the place feel like home. Funny Farm is a little walk from the train station, but the view is so worth it. We loved our stay, and seriously considered staying longer.

Affiliations to this hostels allows you to have free access in certain public buses so getting around becomes so much more convenient. The hostel is really clean and the staffs are great. On the downside, there are no lockers in my dorm so all you have is trust if you leave expensive items in the room.

One one key for the room. No lock on the bathroom door. No locker. Big dog on the lobby.

I love the huge puppy! :D The washer and dryer did not look like they were worth what was being charged. Room was very nice, as was the bathroom. Lots of space.

a really nice place! in my room, there were two big windows! i woke up in the morning seeing the Albs right outside my window! :D

The bathroom was a bit unconfortable since it was too small and the sheets had holes. However, I totally recommend this place.

Not very many people in the off season, but still a pretty social fun place. No kitchen though
