I went with 8 other friends and none of us could have asked for a better hostel. The staff were very accommodating when two of our 9 people arrived a day late. They gave us two hotel-style rooms (one 6 person and one 4 person) that connected to each other both with balconies and private bathrooms. The staff were also very helpful in helping us decide how to spend our weekend and seemed interested in our enjoyment of the city. The hostel is older but it only adds to the character. We loved it!

very quaint, reasonably priced and well-placed. lots of activities in the hostel and easy access to the mountains nearby.

We stayed at the Funny Farm hostel from 23rd to 25th September. It is an excellent hostel with a superb view from the rooms. Staff is very good and everyone speaks good English. It was a memorable stay at the Funny Farm hostel. We would definitely like to stay there again in the future.

We got upgraded to a better room since there weren't many guests staying in the hostel area. Staff is helpful and friendly. About a 15 minute walk from train station.

I was there kind of off season, so the Hostel was kind of empty, but the staff is super nice and it's a beautiful hostel. Because I was there so late in the season, all dorms (which I had booked,) were empty and they moved me to a room of my own!

We have had such a wonderful time at this welcoming, family operated happy hotel!! We spent 2 extra nights because we enjoyed ourselfs so much. I have been all over the USA and several foriegn countries and honestly never felt so at home as I did at the Funny Farm! The food uas FABULOUS, the service at the front desk was perfet the events and outings that were planned for us were amazing and the fun we had right at the hotel was wonderful. It was very hard to leave and we will deffinatly be back

The Funny Farm is more than just a place to stay because the staff is so inviting and welcoming. The location is perfect, the building is beautiful and there is a fun night club in the hostel as well as a bar that is open all hours of the night. I had an amazing time at funny farm and extended my stay for five extra nights. Thank you.

excellent hostel, staff so friendly and good area. my room looked out onto the snowy mountains and was so peaceful. nice pool and bar. great for families also as its still quiet even tho has a club and hostel. nears shops and right on bus line. good bathrooms. loved it here. interlaken is the BEST!!
