decent place, they gave us a bottle of wine when we came, which was awesome. The thing is, we went back there for another night cuz we were happy with it, but then we were charged quite a bit more money, for the same room - which is nonsense and spoiled the great rating I would have otherwise given.

The hostel is located very near to Termini and its very easy to reach there. The rooms and toilets are quite clean and wireless internet and tv in the rooms work well. The breakfast, however, is quite simple but looking at the cost of one bed per night, its still good to have it ! :-)

Funny Palace was an excellent hostel. Was a bit confused at first when we found the place, because the check-in area is actually a laundromat business. The actual hostel is in the next building and is really nice - comfortable beds, extremely clean facilities, renovated bathroom, very quiet, etc. In a great location with easy access to buses and the train station. Free bottle of wine and the great nearby Peruvian restaurant were also great. Would definitely stay again.

It is a good. Good location, relatively cheap, clean room, bathroom is very good. Cons: Lacking a common area for mingling & entertainment. Overall, it is a good hostel for staying, however, if you want to mingle with fellow travelers, you should find another hostel.

It is well located, the staff is helpful and is very clean. But I stayed is two different rooms: one had an excellent bathroom, the other had a really old one, with a no fixed shower. So I guess you have to be lucky. And there is one bathroom for 3 or 4 rooms, so sometimes they are very busy. They is no place for getting together with other guests.

Marbi upgraded us into a private room with our own bathroom as this was our last day in Italy after traveling for a month and wanted us to have a nice and relaxing night. You also get a bottle of wine upon arrival and coupons for free breakfast at a cafe around the corner which was great. We felt as though we were staying in a hotel rather then a hostel! However, saying that their was not really a hostel like atmosphere with no common room so if you looking to meet people try another hostel.

This was a solid hostel. Great place to rest your head. The only drawback is it is spread out so there isn't really a group meeting place so it is hard to meet people outside of the actually room grouping you're staying in. But nevertheless, it was excellent.

Staying in Funny Palace was really nice. Apartments are safe, very well located and really clean! The staff, specially Mabri, was wonderful and willing to help. The only downside is not having a common room where you can meet other people easier, even though I meet some people and had some wines together and it also forced me to go out alone and meet some locals.

The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about what to see and how to set an itinerary for a short stay. They even did a check up on us later on. We got a free bottle of red wine which was great. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was REALLY NICE for a hostel. The location was amazing but difficult to locate from the outside due to a lack of signs and the odd street numbers.

I've stayed at this hostel for one night and that was a good experience. The price was good, the facilities were clean, it had wifi and the staff was really friendly and helpful and patienetly answered all my questions. The location was just just nearby Termini station - that was also very comfortable for me.

like other reviews have said, check in is located in a laundry facilility next door. the guy was nice, but i think he was concerned too much about the ratings on hostelworld, because i heard him say to two other people checking in (as well as to me) "you booked a double with a shared bathroom, but for no charge i upgraded you to a private bathroom" and also gave everyone checking in a free bottle of wine (nothing fancy). fridge didnt work. walls were super thin. only accepts cash :(
