Johnny in the reception was exceptional!

As I travel on my own, I did miss a common area to hang out with other guests. Location, wi-fi, breakfast and courtesy bottle of wine: all great!

Good hostel, nice facilities and GREAT breakfast! Only thing missing was a lounge where we could chill out a little.

The room was clean, comfortable, and secure. It was close to the Termini station that helps get anywhere in the city quickly! The staff was fantastic and very helpful!!! I recommend getting the Roma pass to anyone coming to Rome so you can skip the lines (the shortfall of my trip).

Jonny was a great host. The hostel has a good location but the checking was inside a laudry . The place was dirty and outdated. Toillet conditions very poor. There is not a louge to interact with others guests.

I stayed there for 1 night and it was really good. When I arrived there the recepcionist was really friendly giving me many tips about rome and the best way to get around. It got a big thumbs up from me. I would definately recommend this hostel for others travellers.

Our stay at Funny Palace Hostel was just amazing. The really friendly owner welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a big smile. He gave us all the information needed about our tour around Rome and he even offered us a double room with private bathroom instead of a shared one we had booked for because of a mistake during booking without charging us more. It is "funny" because the hostel is spread around the buildings of the block. I would definitely stay there again or recommend it to friends.

There is no lobby, you check in at the internet cafe next store which was a little strange, but the rooms are fantastic! Looks like a 4 star hotel inside!

Our stay in this hostel was awesome! The owner welcomed us wery well with a bottle of wine. He gave us all information about the city with a map and made our trip easier and easier. Also he gave us a room with private bathroom instead of shared one. Good stuff, good location, great value of money. Highly recommended.

Mabri, the owner goes beyond the call of duty to provide outstanding service. The rooms are cleaned daily, they did my laundry for me, and Mabri personally customized a Rome tour for me on the spot. The location of this hostel is terrific. He hooks it up with discounts and free breakfast around the corner. And to off-set the Rome-imposed tax, he will welcome you with a surprise I haven't seen in any other hostels. The service offered by this hostel is insuperable. Go stay there.

We came from far away,tired,tortured by the mother of all jetlags and shocked by the cold weather - and the people of this hostel made us feel like everything is going to be all right. Thank you for the warm welcome, for all the good advice, for your friendliness and for a warm, cosy bed. We've seen hostels before but you guys stay in our hearts. Thank you! Nina & Erick, Nicaragua

We were a young couple (near forties) :-D passing a few days in Rome and liked a lot our en-suite double bedroom. Rome was cold that days but we always had the heating working when we arrived. Also hot water in the shower. The room was clean and they make beds everyday. Didn't ask for kitchen facilities so we don't know. Fruit in nearby street market and cheap-hi-quality foccacia sandwch at panificio in the corner. Termini has self-service restaurants and lot of options around Marsala Street.

Just the best hostel ever. Excellent localization very confortable, safe, and an excellent service.

Nice and friendly people, clean rooms, good location and excellent cost/benefit relation. I would stay there again !

I have no complaints about Funny Palace, it was hands down the best hostel I've stayed in and I have stayed in quite a few. It was very clean, and our beds were made every morning. In addition, Mabri the owner could not have been more helpful; he gave us a map and told us exactly how to get to everything we wanted to see and how much it all would cost. Great hostel!!

We have been there for one night. The hostel is located very near to the main train station. The room was very neat and clean. The manager and staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. we appreciated the complimentary upgrade of our room and the bottle of wine. The Funny Palace is highly recommended.

I was 2 nights in this hostel in Rome. The staff was very nice and help us with many recommendations about the city. I just have acknowledges for Mabry (hostel staff).

Very nice, the staff is really kind, the they clean is cleaned every morning. The location is very good near to Termini station. I recommend to everyone!
