I have been in the house for 3 weeks and I enjoyed very much..., Everyone was very friendly and helpful, The house has a very good alternative style, everyone is truly a traveler. We had dinner together and we all headed out to party in the historic center... Loved it!

The atmosphere of the place was simply great. Guys Of the staff have been really helpful. They gabe us all the information we needed to find the right places to go out. Location is perfect completely in the centre of the town. The barbecue we had in the garden with the resident people of the house have been memorable thanks guys. See you soon.

It was an amazing experience! finally a place to share ideas and experiences with people from all over the world, everything is growing and the guys are working to improve. It's a kind of open space with bedrooms where the guys of staff organize chill out atmosphere with music from there and you can see how play different musical instruments, the think that i liked is to be in direct contact with the locals and not everyplace offers that! Very open mind and relax, congratulations to the guys!

We were at the last day of carneval so obviously was expensive for what you get there. But seeing the normal prices I think it still doesn't worth. There is no breakfast included in the price, the kitchen is small, dirty exterior one and prepare there are endless stairs to climb with your luggage and also to go to toilet. One lamp in whole room, and to pair that, one electric plug. Rooms are separated with temporary structure therefore could hear everything from the neighbouring room.

More like a squat than a hostel, great space that could be an excellent hostel but lack of facilities and cleanliness let it down. If you're going to ask guests to remove their shoes then you need to keep the floors swept regularly, but didn't happen. And no aircon or working fan in an 8 bed dorm, then finally one tiny floor fan that only reached one person, in very hot Salvador made for very hot, uncomfortable nights. Much better options within the area.

No breakfast. Only one female bathroom which, like showers, are underfloor while dormitories are at first floor. No so convenient.

I loved my stay at Fusion. The staff were all very friendly and it had a very chilled atmosphere. I loved the huge, open-layout living room with hammocks and the outdoor communal kitchen/living room. However, the rooms are very basic (need more light, closing doors)

I spent 2 nights in the fusion guesthouse during carnaval. The living room is fantastic and I felt like in a artist loft. The dormitorys upstairs were a bit disappointing, everything very basic and not very clean. Privacy doesn't exist, there are no doors they just have curtains. The shower and toilets are far away in the backyard of the house. It's a different kind of hostel and I felt like living in an occupied house. An interesting experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful!

This is a great hostel. It is not ideal for those who need everything to be perfect like a hotel, a bathroom next to each room, everything perfectly in order. Sometimes there's limited water, sometimes there's no hot water. But it's a beautiful hostel (the main room is amazing), with a great staff, and everyone has a really good time there. I made friends immediately and had a great time staying there during Carnaval. The location is also perfect, in the heart of the Pelourinho. Thank you.

There were only two toilets and only running water for a really short time of the day so you couldn't shower/flush the toilet/wash up.

Good location but lack of cleanliness leaves this place down. We also felt the private room was not good value for money compared to the other options close by which included breakfast,a proper fan and room door that you can lock from the inside. Would not recommend the private room. Dorms seem ok value for money though.

My review is heavily affected by the fact that when I've been there the hostel was being restructured. The hostel was very basic (no more than a bed), and the common bathroom is not very clean. On the positive side the owner is really a nice guy and the location is great. Probably we just need to wait for its completion.

Well located. Artists and artisans backpackers: nice and relaxed atmosphere, but not party hostel. 3 level bunk beds in rooms without doors. Lockers. Toilets 2 floors under bedrooms.

it was very hard to find the hostel (the taxi driver havent even known this place), when i came the owner havent been and the man who was replacing him was hooked up, the building is is complicated and unconvenient, there was no electricity in my room !!

Owner Comment (Hide)
Hey man if the driver don´t find the place, when they perceive that there is a idiot in their taxi, just stay running around, so the stupid pay more !it´s is our guilty, its is not our problem, i think that you have problem in your mind, i think that no other guest wrote that we don´t have eletricity, if you are robbed on teh street and use this Chanel, to write what is not true, paying R $18 , for sure you should goo to sleep on the street.

Had such a good time, the atmosphere and general vibes of the hostel and its staff are so relaxed and easy going, lockers and great security, although the location was not in the greatest of streets its right in the middle of Pelourinho the historical center and it makes for excellent people watching out the window! fantastic lunch restaurant right next door and a kitchen that is not great but definitely better than none! Would definitely go back

I booked two nights, but stayed almost three months. This due to having fallen head over heels in love with both the city and the hostel (and they luckily offer work exchange). Why I loved it? - Very spacious and luminous. Natural light. - GREAT location. - Beautiful ideology. It's a social project for people who believe in a united world free of borders, the importance of community and development through cooperation. - Truly alive, and packed with culture. - The people.

Overall its a good place. Close to the main tourist area with lots of activity and life going on. The dorm room is large with plenty of space and the price is right. Easy to meet others to go out with. I booked for a few nights, stayed two weeks. Would Definitely stay again.
