It was a good clean, safe spot overall, but the "read and sign the list of rules" upon check in was not a good welcome- seemed to be targeted to 18 year olds though everyone there seemed 20s-30s. Breakfast was meager. Only one bed sheet provided. Bathrooms a bit grubby and my 2-person dorm was tiny, with just enough room for the bunk bed. The location is fantastic if you want a more cultural experience in Singapore;l the hostel is in Little India and close to Chinatown and other ethnic districts. There is cheap food and shopping everywhere! Otherwise, its very close to a metro station, and within walking distance to a number of Singapore sights. Clean rooms, big showers, large lockers in the rooms (they provide the key), comfy beds, and AC which you can control yourself. It's my second time here at the hostel. It's still good and very clean. But, just one thing annoying me that is 5% charge for credit card. Loved it. the staff were very nice, but sometimes not that helpful. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Singapore. The only problem would probably be the shower rooms.
