It is important to keep in mind that is allmost the cheapest hostel in town and the communication with the owner was good: so take the ichy foamrubber matrasses for granted. This is a nice hostel out of town and cheap I guess for Singapore. It has free internet, tv and very clean but never met any members of staff. I would stay there again but go elsewhere if you are looking for a bigger hostel which is more organised (and with reception).This is a nice hostel out of town and cheap I guess for Singapore. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here before flying out to Melbourne. The room was small but had everything we needed. You're provided with free linen and towels, TV in room, hot showers, free internet access in the common area, and free use of the Washing Machine which was really handy as we'd been travelling thru Asia for a month!! Id really recommend it if your needs are simple like ours! Location isnt the best but public transport is so cheap that really isnt an issue!!We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here before flying out to Melbourne. This is a kind of self-service place - you check yourself in by reading an email on their computer and retrieving your key from a safe using a code you are given. Unfortunately as we changed our booking this didn't quite work for us - but the guy came round to sort it for us. Also, the room we stayed in for our second night smelt of smoke - not ideal. There does not appear to be any staff presence on site, which is fine as long as nothing goes wrong, but I think it could potentially cause major problems. When I arrived the towel I had been given was dirty (not a problem the second time I came). The shower has a tendency to collect cockroaches. Good value for a money. Small room but clean. Had not seen any staff there. Just call from the telephone in hostel and putted money to the safe where was a key from the room.Good value for a money.
